Looking for Broncos Fans in the Chapel Hill area

Hello MHR community,

This summer I moved to Carrboro/Chapel Hill North Carolina.  I lived most of my life an hour south of Denver and lived the good life of getting to see every Broncos game every season.  I've been looking into ways to watch the games out here.  I'll probably try finding streams online via howtowatchfootball.com and going to the sports bar alone in hopes of finding another lone Orange and Blue fan.

But then I thought, well I'm a part of this fantastic community, so maybe I should look here.  I'd love to find some people in the Chapel Hill/Carrboro area that are just as crazy about the broncs as I am.  Whether it's getting together with somebody who is lucky enough to have Sunday Ticket or meeting at a bar, I'm always willing and I'll always buy a round.

So if you're a Bronco fan in this area and are looking for someone to watch games with too or just to be friends, give me a shout in the comments or email me (My address is on my SB nation profile page).  Hopefully, we can support the best team in football together.

Go Broncos!

DC

is not quite Chapel Hill, but if you ever make it this far north there is a HUGE bronco following at a place called Penn Quarter Sports Tavern in DC. I was shocked to see maybe 100+ bronco fans this far east, and all in one place. Just a thought. Also anyone in the DC area that was unaware, come out and support the team.

Hoping to live up there one day

I’d love to live in DC and I’m hoping my career path with take me there. It’ll be 2 years at least, so hopeful the fan club is still going then!

Meh..

depending on your goals, its not all that amazing. at least northern Va anyways. can’t even have a real strip club unless I go to DC or MD. ROFL priorities priorities. regardless I’m sure the fanclub will be around for a very long time.

I live about an hour and a half away..

I’m sure you will find no shortage of sports bars around the area. Look up the Carolina Ale House. It’s awesome. Chapel Thrill is a cool town. The Cat’s Cradle also hosts some excellent bands, if you’re into that kinda thing.

Take my advice, I'm not using it !!!

I am into that kinda thing

In fact, it’s my job. I do some coverage of local music so I’m getting familiar with the local venues. I just haven’t had time to check out the sports bars. Thanks for the tip.

I'm in NC

I’m in Apex which is just south of Chapel Hill. Not to mention, a huge fan of the best team in football!!!! OP, did you grow up in Colorado Springs? I grew up there and still have some family in the area. You can bet I’ll have every game on this season thanks to DirectTv!!!

Hello

I actually work in Cary, so I’m familiar with Apex (at least along HW64). And yes, I did grow up in CSpring. Actually, Monument just to the north, but pretty much the same thing.
