HOF snubs reach new low.....

for our Broncos....I recently bought the new Madden 2010. One of the options they have this year is that under "NFL Rosters" you can go the Hall of Fame and view all the Hall of Fame inductees in the NFL including this 2009 years inductees. As I was browsing I went to the Broncos to see how many inductees we have and was immediately shown the "No Hall of Fame Inductees for this team". I had to do a double take and think for a second. Elway and Zimmerman definitely were inducted so I made sure I had the right team selected and checked again. Did it another 2 times just to make sure I wasnt tripping but MADDEN 2010 definitely doesnt have ANY Broncos listed in the HOF. Not sure if other teams have this problem but dammmmmmn No Love at ALL. Thats ridiculous.

It's not just the Broncos...

John Elway wasn’t a part of Madden 09 or 08 either. I think it’s purely a personal decision for each HoF player. They aren’t a part of any active roster when the game comes out, so their names don’t have to be used in the game if they don’t want them to be. Take Belichick for example. He’s not a member of the Players Association, so he doesn’t have to have his name in the game. It’s not in the game btw. For as long as I can remember, NE’s coach always shows up as “NE Coach” in the game.

Peyton Hillis is also referred to in early Greek mythology by his other names such as Zeus or Poseidon.

That is correct.

However, we do have a few Broncos in the NFL records of Franchise mode, including Elway (and, for some reason, Andre Johnson the Texans WR.) One thing I noticed right away was the lack of BMarsh’s 18 catches against San Diego last year from the “Most receptions in a game” list. It’s got 10 guys, down to 16 catches, but no Beast…

It's just that he doesn't have to

have his name, it’s that he can’t have his name in the game. Barry Bonds wasn’t in some of the MLB games I played for this reason. If they aren’t a member of the PA and don’t expressly give permission to use their likeness, EA cannot include it in the game. Thus the “NE Coach” of the past few years. I wouldn’t sweat this too much because like the above comment, he probably just hasn’t given his conset to the dirtballs at EA.

I thought you knew that algebra was all razzamatazz. A Globetrotter always saves the good algebra for the final minutes.

Its not a Roster...

that you can play with….it actually lists all the HOF for every team for historic info sake not for playing madden sake. I feel like they actually just didnt add any HOF inductees to madden for the broncos
