Quotes from Lombardi, Michael that is...
I thought I would share these quotes with you, that were posted by Michael Lombardi on his sunday-morning blog "Sunday at the Post":
Michael Lombardi's blog at NFP
3. I know Kyle Orton looked bad Friday when he threw three first-half interceptions, but the Broncos appeared extremely well-coached on offense. Josh McDaniels is going to be a very good head coach, especially if he can get Orton to eliminate his mistakes.
4. The Broncos changed personnel groups on every play to open the first drive against the 49ers. And once Brandon Marshall comes back, they’ll eventually have a down-the-field passing game.
6. Knowshon Moreno is good — and I mean really good. His ability to pass protect makes him a huge weapon for the Broncos, and his knee looks fine.
These kind of quotes make me excited, incredibly excited. He dedicates 3 of his 10 observations from the first pre-season games to the Broncos. That has to mean something right?
13-3 Baby! Go Broncos!
(PS: Is it a coincidence that observation 3,4 and 6 are Broncos related? Add's up to 13 ->>> 13-3 baby)

One thing I'm hating about ESPN, as opposed to those great comments.
They seem to want to shove the ‘fact’ that they think Orton stinks down their readers throats. Why else would they have a headline on the front page of their site that Orton throws three picks? Now today another headline that the Broncos are sticking with him even tho he’s terrible. I guarantee that if he sets the field on fire next week, doesn’t get picked and throws three TD’s there will be no mention of it except in the game recap, and certainly not on the front page. I’m tired of it.
I did not read the articles because I don’t know what they are going to do for me other than to make me depressed. I’d rather read the insightful commentary on this site.
Sorry BroncosNL, I’m not trying to thread jack, I just noticed the other headline and this is something I’ve been wanting to get off my chest. I love the quotes, I hope Lombardi knows what he is taling about. My comment seemed to fit here.
I agree, and it’s not only ESPN, but NFL.com and several other sites too. I can do not but sigh and click the page away when I see it, and turn to MHR, where the educated people are.
I usually enjoy reading Lombardi’s column on sunday, he has some nice observations sometimes, so it surprised me that he offered so much tought on the Broncos, and ofcourse it got me excited to read that.

Where's the John Clayton article,
“Bears Say They’ll Stick with Cutler Despite 30 QB Rating”
haha
after giving up the draft for him, they’d better stick with him. Although, Jerry Angelo might do something to screw it up. We’ll see.

Your enthusiam will not be undone BNL and nice find.
Whether we go 13-3 or 3-13 will see a team more apt to play and more enthused about being a Bronco than we have in a long time. I go with the 13-3 Baby!!! Until we ain’t.
