I was pleased with my level of effort
but am glad this was just a preason game. I made some bad posts and missed out on some opportunties to make funnies that I’m accustomed to making during the regular season. But it’s nothing that coaching and more practice can’t solve. This week I plan to return to my roots and spend time reading Dave Berry over and over again!

You are slipping Zappa…for you to be on the outside of the top three and looking in!? How did that happen?
I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.
Wow, I posted 35 times? Didn’t realize it was that much. Stupid jetleg woke me up so figured I’d go watch the game, and had a lot of fun reading along with the MHR members. Definately will try to be here for the next game, it’s fun to watch and share ideas/thoughts with this great community.

Not to mention......
mainstream media analysts tend to have a lot of info to cover on all the teams and dont really have the time to focus on one specific teams needs, attributes, and all around details. Love this site!

There was 27% less doom and gloom, down from last year’s season ending game in SD.
204% avg increase in individual posters from 2008
75% avg increase in total comment count
Normally, the game threads pick up in the third and fourth quarters, but obviously the preseason is a different animal. If our first quarter pace had continued, we would have been on track for 3000 comments in 3 hours.
That is approx. 1000 comments an hour, or, 1 comment every 3.5 seconds.
I would like to take a moment to remind everyone of the hotkey functions available to them, most notably the z key, wich marks as read and tabs forward, and the all important shift + A which marks all comments as read. It just may save your life.

Almost too much
I had a hard time reading and watching the game. Oh I guess its a good problem to have so long as I still have my Tivo. The Texans board I think had like 200 posts for the whole game.
I'll have to ameliorate my typing skills to break the top 20.
I think it’s a little Alzheimers too! Or it could be some Jack, Alzheimers and Rheumatism. Need more Horse Power in the Computer too. What were we talking about?
OH YEAH!
