Marshall Trade?
Say we were to trade Marshall... Im sure many teams would be interested, but what would we get that would be even close to his talent. Even though we lost Cutler I felt that we got good things in return considering orton will do fine in mcd's system. We got some great talent and i think that we would have been fine with all the talent at wr helping orton. If we trade Marshall we will lose the randy moss of the broncos who sets up things for everyone else on the offense. What will we get in return anyway? Were not going to bring in a star player this late in camp leaving it to a draft pick. And im always astounded at how it seems that a player draft pick trade always benefits where the player is going to. So we are in a sticky situation with people knowing Marshall isnt happy and if we try to trade him then he wont be happy and there is no going back from there. As we have seen (Cutler)

Not much right now
If he wants to be traded, he better get his act together. Otherwise, we would rather punish him and make him sit for the season to show the rest of the potential primadonnas on the team that whining ain’t gonna cut it anymore.
If we had to trade him, we might get a 2nd rounder for him, unless some team has a major WR injury or two soon and they’ll pony up a 1st rounder.
Let’s just hope things work out and he stays so we have the best damned receiving corp in the league.
I'm curious
I keep hearing the statement that many teams are interested in trading for Marshall, yet the only team I’ve actually heard of that has expressed an interest is the Jets.
So, which do we believe? The statement that many are interested? Or, the statement that only the Jets have expressed an interest?

The Broncos
still have the option to Franchise him next year. Not sure how the uncapped season affects all of this.
Victor Frankl:
What man actually needs is not a tensionless state but rather the striving and struggling for some goal worthy of him. What he needs is not the discharge of tension at any cost, but the call of a potential meaning waiting to be fulfilled by him.
Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms – to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
I think we are making more out of this than there really is
Marshall is unhappy about the business side of things (contract and PR), but he is there practicing. I haven’t seen anything that makes me think he is being punished either, I just don’t think you can pay a guy until he shows he can start for you. I know, I know, ‘100 catches in two straight seasons,’ and that is impressive, but he is coming off an injury and he has shown a lack of practice focus, not to mention all the drops last year (is his arm healed or not?).
That being said, I would be surprised if he isn’t a starter by the regular season, and I would be equally surprised if he isn’t extended by the end of the season. Until he can do that he most likely will not draw the trade offers that the Broncos would find acceptable, and once he is getting those kinds of offers, the Broncos will want him at least as much as the other teams.
"It's the first time that I've probably ever seen a 260 pound back run into a free safety and go flat on his back, I mean it was exciting." ~John Elway
If you owned another team
would you want to pay very much for him. Right off the bat you would have to pay $60 million for him a long term contract, not knowing if his hip is completely healed up. Then you would have to hope he can keep out of trouble during the off season. Then you would hope that next season he doesn’t come to camp with a chip on his shoulder and decide he doesn’t want to put out an effort to make your team????
No, I wouldn’t give the Bronco much in trade for a headache & whiner. I believe if he had came in with a good attitude and showed that the hip surgery hasn’t hurt his game skills, the Broncos would have offered him a new contract during the season.
First of all, there seems to be a consensus that the Cowboys trade for Roy Williams is the only way to go but it’s not. There are other options besides a first round pick because with an uncapped year coming what franchise really wants 2 #1 picks to pay? A different package can be put together to lure him away from the Broncos and a fans opinion of a player whether they call them a whiner or cry baby shouldn’t phase a franchise because fans are two sided monsters-as long as the player is producing their happy but when something goes wrong they tend not to like him very much. Just because we haven’t heard anything doesn’t mean it’s not happening because there are some teams out there that can pull a trade and we never knew it was coming.
Whether people like him or not doesn’t matter…the only thing franchises care about is can they help them win and if they get into trouble can they beat the rap-period. Fans are the only ones who feel the need to have to like a player. Those teams are probably waiting to see what happens and then decide to make a move.

Hmm
There is talks that the Jets are interested. I’d say if they are going to trade BMarsh to the Jets, I’d try and get Jericho Cotchery and maybe a draft pick for next yr. Cotchery is a solid WR and very humble dude. Rare combination for a WR in today’s NFL.

I Doubt They Would Give Him
Cotchery is their only receiver and that is why they want another one.
Tis better not to throw it to the deep receiver but the open receiver.
Is this really happening?
Is it just me, or does it seem as if we have have officially resuscitated a dead horse, only to beat it a few more times???
I am sick and tired of being sick and tired of hearing about Jay Cutler. I don’t care how much “potential” a player has, if they are not a good fit in the spread offense and prefer to play the West Coast style instead, more power to him in his new home.
May the Schwartz be with the young padawan. Now…let’s get back to talking about THIS team.
