REPLAY of Seattle game
Replay of Seattle V. Denver game on NFL Channel at 4:00 AM EDT/ 2:00 AM MDT, Monday, August 24.
There isn't much to say but I'll fill some space here to meet the minimum requirement.
I find watching the game a second time to be particularly useful for analyzing team and individual performance. The Seattle game may not be the game you want to watch a second time but it's surprising how many little things you can notice the second time around. Having foreknowledge of the results allows you to pay attention to details that would normally overlook if you're watching the ball during the initial viewing.

my questions:
our running backs suck. period. please get well Moreno………
our defense is swiss cheese
I like Orton but please pass the ball down field and don’t try the Plummer left handed pass…
we have a lot of work to do……

You must have watched a different game than I did
The first string defense looked good. The front three has been much better than I dared hope. We lack depth — no surprise there — but if the second and third stringers improve (great coaching so far) as much as the starters have that situation will get better, too. But until then time of possession will be needed to keep the starters rested.

Could you please elaborate less?
You’re making too much sense Spock.

I actually liked what I saw with Brandstater
Sure, he couldn’t recognize and react fast enough but he didn’t panic and the game will slow down for him as he gets more reps.

Brandstater
The knock on him in college was his sometimes deer in the headlights reaction to pressure — from what little I was able to get on him. He’s not immobile, in the sense of lacking mobility, but he needs work on evading pressure. I’d love to see Elway come back and teach the duck under, curl he used to evade oncoming pass rushers. I struggle to find the proper words to describe Elway’s maneuver but he used to such great success and so regularly that it belongs in the QB’s textbook.
Brandstater has demonstrated his ability to learn; a problem he had (can’t remember what) in his Shrine (?) bowl appearance was fixed by the time he appeared at the combine. I just didn’t expect him to have to prove himself so soon.

I'm just getting to the end of the game now, i'll guess instead
of deleting this game, i’ll watch it again tomorrow.
I will refuse to say the 1st string defense looked good until i watch it again tomorrow….
