The Win-Win Rules of Pre-Season
1. Always try the really long field goal - it will build confidence in the kicker or determine his maximum range or stess the defense by giving the opponent the short field
2. Never kick short field goals - if the guy can't hit from 20, he shouldn't be in camp
3. Always go for 2 - see #2 and why not use the chance to run the goal-to-go from the 1 play
4. Run 75% pass plays - pass plays are tougher to perfect, they involve everyone whereas running plays involve primarily the OL and the atheletic ability of one RB, also RBs get hurt on running plays
5. Never brag on mention stats, passer ratings, scores.

I agree....unless
you have a battle at the punting position….
Verbose in style, dispersion of thought, procrastination in life.
I agree 100% on the passing plays...
I don’t want Knowshon, Hillis, or any other running back hurt.

totally agree....
That is spot on! Pass plays are all about timing, look at Payton Manning he didn’t practice with his receivers last year, he didn’t gt going to midway through the season!
Keep throwing KO!
I disagree about running in the red zone.
Denver has really struggled to put up running TDs in the red zone the past few years. I’m not against more passing plays in preseason (I’m for it), but our running game has a ways to go before week 1 and some preseason red zone work wouldn’t hurt.
Love the Broncos, don't like their Coach.
I think the Chicago game is when we'll see the red zone running game come into play.
It’s the closest thing to regular season in week 3 and we should play the game the same way.

I agree with Joe here.
McDaniels will test our goaline running against one of the best run-stopping goaline D’s in the NFL. The backs and Oline should see some pressure here.
Also our Secondary will get a REAL good final test and evaluation against Arizona in game 4.
Don’t get too upset just yet, we’ve still got time to test, run, and evaluate many working parts and problem areas. Josh has got a checklist and he’s going to work all the way through it.
It's Orange Crush time. And no I am NOT talking about the soft-drink.
Which I beg the question: "Can liquid really be... soft?"
The past is settled, its only the future now. A new one, for Denver, and for BMarsh. Light'em up Beast!
