A Broncos' world in Germany
Hey mates!
Just as promised about one to two months ago, I decorated my entire living room in Bronco-style! This room is the place to be for Broncos fans in whole wide Germany, perhaps even in Europe! Immerse yourself into a different world compared to yours in the US or where ever you live and enjoy taking a closer look at my new home - just after the jump!
P.S.: Be sure to check out the highlight at the end of the post! It will be SO DAMN GREAT watching Broncos games with it over your head...
Let's start with coming inside, closing the door and seeing this small plate:
Leaving the door behind you, to the right of the room, greets fly out to Ed McCaffrey:
Then the place around the TV. The overview comes first, then the detail pictures:
Noticed the color of the wall? ;) Let's take a look at our beloved John:
Super Bowl Champions! Eat it, Favre! :D
My truck selection - with a salute to my gone Düsseldorf Rhein Fire:
Denver Broncos 4 ever!
Trying to hide some cables:
So then, switch on the lights:
We control the clock...
...just like #7 did!
And Champ shall save us all =)
My second jersey - this time game-worn in the NFL Europe - with the beautiful Broncos patch:
Stoke's da man! And I love LEDs!
Well... Now it's time to get excited, the highlight is nearing...
This is my cute blue couch... But do you see something on top of the pic? Take a closer look during daylight:
Isn't it nice to have a blue element, besides the couch, in this room full of Orange Crush!? But let's get back to the vertical flag first:
And we switch on the blue light - for Broncos' sake!
One last pic before the highlight: My Denver cup (on the right) and a little perfumed candle in the same look (on the left):
Now comes the highlight! Just take a second and go back four pics. If you watch closely, you'll see the huge, black-light lamp. If I switch it on, I'll get to see this:
Did I say, that I am going to watch Broncos games sitting under this luminous logo? That's the only positive living in Germany being a Broncos fan: You don't get to see any games during daylight... ;)
Well my MHR friends... I hope you enjoyed this small trip into my world! If anyone of you gets to Germany sometime, you're invited!
I'm looking forward to reading your opinions and feelings, thanks!

DJ, I was going to get ready to rebut when you said, "perhaps even in Europe..."
But then I saw the pictures. You have me beat!

Hehe, so I'm lucky? ;)
But you could be right, perhaps I’ve exaggerated a bit… If I did, I want to see pictures of the room beating me…
Thank you =)

I’ll just concede right here. :)

Thanks, I really do!
Since there’s no more Rhein Fire, the Broncos are my only love left in sports!

Is that an...
ORANGE LIGHTSABER?!?!?! WANT. NEED.
Lol, that is an awesome room. If I’m ever in Germany on a Sunday during football season, I’m definitely hitting you up.

Sweeeet!
Great room. Ich wünschte, ich könnte sie in Person zu sehen. Eines Tages, vielleicht meine Frau und ich kann nach Deutschland kommen, um dich zu besuchen.

Awesome room!
I wanted to paint my room orange and blue but my brother, whom I share my room with, said it would be too tacky.:-(

I heard that too...
My parents where very skeptical when I told them, what I am going to do with my living room. My girlfriends was unsure, too – as all my friends were… But when they went into the room and saw the colours, they went just “WOW” ;)

Well, in fact it's just a two-room apartment...
You know, I am just a student… But I am looking forward to building a house in the future – then with even more Broncos-style in one room and many more cool light and black-light effects ;)

BRONCO FAN ALSO IN GERMANY!
I’m a student so I’m renting and can’t decorate my own room, but would if I could! Where in Germany are you exactly? I’m in Berlin. Also, how do you watch the games? Would be great to chat more with you! Tschüß!

Hey, that's cool - another German Bronco!
I’ve never been to Berlin, but I definitely want to see our capital…
I live in Köln (Cologne for our American friends) now. I’d like to chat more with you too! So if you want to add me at ICQ – or anyone here wants to do it too – feel free: 285-168-868

My best vacation ever was in Germany
Started in Berlin, went to Cologne (can’t do the umlaut over the o in Koln) and then traveled down the Mosel. Flew back home from Frankfurt. Oh, and Trier! Love Trier and the Roman wall. First generation Canadian, my Mom and Dad had both moved to Canada when they were younger. It’s exciting to know that the Broncos are being supported in the Vaterland.
That room puts my small cabinet to shame. I didn’t know you can get Broncos candles!! I need to get busy. LOL Awesome post DJ. Thanks for sharing

That sounds real cool, solace!
My sister studied in Trier and she loved it there too. Actually she was born in Cologne an thought she would never want to leave “her” town. But as soon as she was in Trier, she didn’t want to return to Cologne :D Now she lives in Hamburg, as a sidenote, is a beautiful city, too!
And you better go and look for some candles ;) I’ll switch it on everytime they are playing =)

That room is just sexy cool!
Thanks for sharing! :-D
