If Brandon wants a trade and a big payday...
That was the worst thing he could have done to achieve that goal. What does he expect to be traded for, a lopsided kicking tee and a used jock?
It would make sense if
its a plan between him and Jay Cutler. Get his value so low and make him so undesireable that no other team besides Chicago will pick him up. I would be real pissed if he ends up in Chicago.

that's probably exactly what he's thinking
baby wants his security blanky
Owning the Patriots since September 9, 1960
Maybe it will then shut
up the Chicago fans that come on here and sy we don’t know what we are talking about. In Chicago Culter will lock on to Marshall and Vikes and Packers will have a hayday on Defense. They will then see what we saw last year.
Hester running wide open and Cutler throws to a triple cover Marshall. Ya I can see it
Make or break
It appears that “this is the moment” the critical juncture that this issue either makes or breaks Marshall’s presence as a Bronco and perhaps his entire career. IMOP this is the point that could define McDaniel’s status as coach for the Broncos, how the team buys the concept of TEAM, and whether this Marshall mess either unites the team or splinters it. This is the point where Marshall either mans up and grows up or throws a huge anchor on a promising career.
There is only ONE possible outcome where everyone wins and that is Marshall’s commitment to the team effort and his letting go of whether he will be rewarded for that effort. This is the point where faith and ability transmute to the reward he’s seeking, whether that be with the Broncos or some other team.
For Marshall’s sake and the Broncos I hope that he seeks the high road.
I for one love the way the Broncos have handled this.
If he wants to be a team mate, then he’s welcome, but if he wants to sideswipe everything they are trying to accomplish, then distance is key.

question
I watched it last night and I couldn’t interpret what he was saying with one part — does he want a clean slate HERE or somewhere else, or either?
I think I know where you got confused...here's the transcription.
Brandon, what do you want to happen here? Do you want to be with the Broncos or do you want to do whatever it takes to make a trade?
—-You know what, I’m not gonna do whatever it takes, you know. I’m not out there trying to be a distraction to the team. Unfortunately yesterday, uh, you know I kinda let my frustration get the best of me, but I honestly have to say that you know, I really want a fresh new start with everything that is going on. Not just this year but in the past years. You know, it’s been a lot. Unfortunately yesterday I let, you know, my emotions get the best of me. I apologize to everyone for that but again, you know, half of that video was blown out of proportion. Clips, you know, before practice even started, and it made it seem like I wasn’t participating but yesterday I had a great practice and I went out there [and] caught some balls and even took some reps with the 1’s and felt good about it.

I would say it's no doubt that he wants out.
He’s got a weird way of showing it though….

You mean, a la JC
“You know”?

"No, I'm from Iowa, I only work in outer space."
so from that, do you think he means he wants a fresh start here? Wants everyone to forget all his crap and let him start anew? Can they start you back at the beginning of your rookie contract? =)
In his case...
they would have to look back to the beginning of his college career.

Interpretation
“You know, to be truthfully honest, I’m not gonna bust my butt here because I want to go somewhere over the rainbow where my life will magically transform because I’ll have a fresh start and everybody will love me. Why should I work for a living here in Denver when “ownership” promised me in blood that some sucker would trade for me? What? No-one wants me? Fools! Let me smack you around."
How is it ...
That all of the sane minded people end up here. I hear alot of discussion either way about what happens or has happened with the Broncos this year on here and it is all good minded discussion with good insights, but if you go to ANY other site, retard just falls out of their faces onto the screen. I can’t stand to go to other sites, but I always end up there because I love the Broncos and want to get as much information on them as I can. Anyways, thanks for being objective here, its nice to have a place to go to read on some real news and some really good posts!
There is no charge for awesomeness, or attractiveness!!
Silly question for Brandon
You said if you were going to be “Truthfully Honest” is there a way to be untruthfully honest or truthfully dishonest?
There is when you have to parse so many words with your fiancee, girl friend, family, press and police all the time.
You say you want a clean start. Is that true?
A clean start would be you acting mature and living up to your commitments both in relationships, to yourself and to your teammates. You haven’t ever done that yet and that is the reason you think the world is against you.
Brandon Marshall’s biggest enemy is Brandon Marshall. You are responsible for everything you have done, no one else.
When you grasp that and realize how many people in this world would love to suffer with over 2 million dollars a year salary, you will begin to see why others view you like they do.
A self centered immature child who has only one skill, catching a football……….sometimes.

There you go....
That one works for me. I don’t, to be truthfully hones, see any way this idiot gets it together for this season. He hasn’t the brains or the emotional maturity it takes to function as an adult.
He summed up every problem he has with that one phrase….. “I let my emotions get the better of me”
I don’t see that proclivity changing anytime soon, and neither does anyone else. That’s why a trade for anything of value is an impossibility. Why would any team give up a thing for a guy who cannot control his emotions, even in his own self interest?

or maybe we pay one of the top five WRs in the league as he deserves?!!!
And make him happy!
The company line here always amazes me!! Folks don’t want to play for McD!! But this is what happens if you go to Bowlen and let it be known!
Believe me, if we put him on the block, just like Jay, half the teams out there jump up and make offers…
That makes their teams fools, not ours right?
I think Brandon would have gotten
top 5 money had he not been arrested 13 times, danced with a McDonald’s bag and damaged nerves in his arm and lie about it not once but several times, showed up to camp and been professional this year.
As for folks do not want to play for McD comment there are so many players current and former that have complimented this man I find that an expression of sheer emotion with little substance to back it up.
Unless of course Rod Smith and John Elway compliments of the new coach do not mean anything. I mean what have they ever done for the Broncos. Oh yeah won Super Bowls, worked hard, never been arrested and put the team first including taking pay CUTS on occasion so the team could improve.

Marshall said that ownership "would trade him", but
from what I remember, Mr. Bowlen said that ownership would do its best to accomodate Brandon’s wishes…that doesn’t mean that he is “for sure” going to get traded. Thank goodness we suspended him.
