5 must go by 9/1
Back to football, too much Marshall and Cutler
NFL teams must cut player rosters from 80 down to 75 by 9/1. Who do you think will be let go?
My five are Braxton Kelly, Britton Colquitt, Stanley Bryant, Matthew Willis, (Brandon Marshall suspended). The idea is that these players to be cut will not play this game. Due to the fact that if they are injured then injury compensation would have to be paid.
Saturday the 5th will be the hard cut date down to 53 then once players have cleared waivers, they can be assigned to the practice squad.

Colquitt
Don’t think he gets cut, not this week at least. He’s actually shown a stronger leg than Kern, and he’s been getting better at placing the ball inside the 20 on shorter punts, which had been the area that Kern was better at. Plus Colquitt has kicked a field goal. Bryant is a good bet to get cut – he’s looked like a lump of lead out there.
Willis is a good bet, since we have ten recivers (counting the big baby) so one will likely go. But I’ve seen Willis do some good things so it might be CJ Jones or Chad Jackson.
I do agree that the coaches know already who will be the five (four) so you’re probably right that they won’t play.
...because sometimes your inner cowboy needs to yodel.

You guys are right..
Bryant was cut my apologies (better research needed). I think Bradley’s comment about Colquitt is correct and he does stay. NO WAY E-PEDS gets cut. Too many teams are looking for the 6’5" 300lb 3-4 DE. At least he goes to PS waivers. I could be wrong.
My thought is, that no team will cut someone that may be tradeable. Chad Jackson may still be tradeable, CJ probably not.
Marshall doesn't count, either
Suspension != cut, he’d still take a roster spot.
I hope Pedescleaux clears waivers and can go to the PS. He probably will…
