2009 Denver Broncos Training Camp - AM Roll Call

Unofficially, since I am using my two eyes to check the numbers, 6 Broncos are not on the field as practice got underway this morning.

Brandon Stokley, Jarvis Moss, Correll Buckhalter, Wesley Woodyard, Brandon Marshall and Brian Dawkins were all MIA.  Updates on any reason will happen after the workout.

Don't we

already know why Moss is MIA? (Well, not all the details, but it sounds like he’s not sure he wants to keep playing, taking a personal time out to think things over…)

Worried about seeing some of those other guys out though — hopefully just minor bumps and bruises…

Oh

missed the note below about him being expect back. Odd. Hm. Maybe he changed his mind and is quitting after all. What’re you Jarvis, Bret Favre? ;-)

Sounds like Ayers

might be signed soon, as per Adam Schefter on twitter (as per the MHR’s on twitterer, er, tweeter, er… whatever!) ;-) Anyway, that’d be great news.

As for Knowshon, it’s hard not to think that Crabtree is screwing it up for everyone, but Broncos could still get something done based on other signings this year and last. Hope it happens soon.

jim johnson

Could Brian Dawkins’ absence have to do with the recent passing of long-time Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Johnson? Maybe he attended the funeral or something…

Jim Johnson died?!?

Wasn’t he still the DC this year???

Verbose in style, dispersion of thought, procrastination in life.

he died earlier this week,

after a fight with cancer. now the DC is this sean mcdermott guy, or something like that
