Moreno Signed??

I'm hoping someone can either confirm or discredit this claim. I was lookin for Knowshon contract updates, came across a link to a BroncosNation message board...there on the top under "general discussions" was the thread "Moreno signs 6-yr deal w./$12M guaranteed"...as I said, I can't confirm it, however, I'm hopeful this report is the honest truth. I've scoured the web for more info, but this is all I found...yall check it out and halas.

Not Sure

I’m sure he will be signed in time. What I’m not sure about is whether its a good idea for him to be in Georgia. On the one hand he is able to stay in shape. He can’t practice with the team or at the club facilities here and there is no-one else to practice with here. On the other hand he could be signed any moment and if he was here he could get to practice within minutes.

If the agent thinks they are close, the player gets on a plane. When Moreno arrives in Denver, my guess is that the deal will be close.

The thread linked to just states that the DP thinks this is what he'll get (as of May 1, 2009).

It is a story about us releasing Selvin Young, and makes no mention of any actual Moreno signing, just speculation on what we’ll pay him and the other ‘backs in the stable. When he’s in the Mile High City, that’s when things will be getting close. Until then… plenty of other Broncos news to read.
