"It doesn't matter how you win."

It doesn't matter how you score.

It doesn't matter who's scoring.

It doesn't matter how many passing yards.

It doesn't matter what the passer rating is.

It doesn't matter if you don't have a cannon arm.

It doesn't matter how you make the play.

It doesn't matter where you make the play.

It doesn't matter who you play.

It doesn't matter who says you can't win.

It doesn't matter what the odds are.

It doesn't matter who makes a big play.

It doesn't matter who makes the Pro Bowl.

It doesn't matter where you came from.

It doesn't matter how you win.

Just win. That seems to be something the most pessimistic fans and critics have forgotten. Watching the new America's Game tonight, I got to see a closer look at the Super Bowl champion Steelers of last year. They didn't have the prettiest plays. They didn't have the cannon armed quarterback. They had a head coach that some thought was "in over his head". They had the odds stacked against them in virtually every sense. They DID have a strong willed team. They did have success even when people didn't think they could do it down the stretch. They had problems in December the year before (sound familiar). They believed they could get it done no matter what it took. They believed.

Why can't some of you believe? After all, it doesn't matter how you win.
