Bears/Packers from the Bronco Perspective

I thought it would be fun to discuss the Green Bay vs. Chicago game. I realize the game has nothing to do with the Broncos, but hey, I think we all know there is a vested interest in this game. I'm excited, and I like talking football with my MHR friends, so please join in and lets have a discussion or an argument! If this is foolish, I'll rely on Guru to take post down. Discuss after the jump!

Star-divide

Let's talk Packers/Bears!

Nice opening play!

I normally HATE the Packers, but I have to root for some pass rush. Call me petty.

I'm gonna go on record here

before McGeorge and Whidbey show up, and say, yes, I loved Jay Cutler. I wanted him to stay. And I am looking at a lot of justification as to why I am glad he is no longer in Denver. But I did post questioning his leadership after the coaching change, and my skepticism began there, and was apparent there. I do not think trading Cutler was a bad decision at all, in retrospect.

I think that the NFL should change the rules.

If a QB can throw the ball through the uprights from at least 80 yards away, the team automatically wins.

They can call it, “the jay cutler needs some better use for his rocket arm other than throwing interceptions to the other team……………rule.”

It seems like a long name, but it’s free to be changed.

I did notice that. That’s an “I told you so” face if I’ve ever seen one.

Wonder what Urlacher has to say about Cutler now?

Especially after his boy Orton toughs out a major hand injury.

Seen it too many times……..Normally a team takes over with over a min left and you figure they got a good shot at scoring……I figured about 80% probability of a pick on that last drive with cutler at the helm

Me too.

It was the immediacy that surprised me.

I was calling for the pick 6 because I had green bays defense on ff

LOL you knew he had at least one more pick in him

HAHA……yeah i was cheering for pick six……not because I hate Cutler……but because I really really really ridiculously dislike cutler

What a great opening day.

Boy I’m sure glad we traded our 1st rounder and not chicago’s next yr

DAMMIT!!! I really didn’t want to post at WCG but there was a “at least he’s still better than Orton” comment and I got weak.

Oh well…I’m a troll. ;-)

HAHAHA......

is he better than orton and two first rounders?
okay….let’s revisit the original question…..
is he really…i mean in reality, not in stats, really better than orton?

Our QB may not have won the game for us yesterday,

but he sure as hell didn’t lose it for us by throwing a duck instead of taking a sack. Say what you want about that decision to take the sack, but it didn’t become an INT.

Here is a funny comment from WCG

This isn’t how Cutler was supposed to play

I guess he didn’t watch any of our game the past two years.
