Just like they diagrammed it.

But I think that Marshall was supposed to tip the ball to Stokely. Not the defender. ;)

It was a lucky fluke play and we should’ve lost the game, just like last year against SD. But I’ll take it and hopefully the offense will do better next week. What a tremendous effort by the defense. Of course, I thought the same thing last year when we walloped the Raiders 45-what? 10? I just hope the offense and defense keep improving and we can sneak in a few more victories here and there.

This is our team, let's have fun with it! - dmitchell624

Would Brandotipping it to Stokley be a legal play

or a forward pass, lateral?

Leon Hall gets the 1st Star of the game =)

I'd be willing to cough up a game ball for him ; )

I’d give that 1st star to Roy Williams and the other safety. Hall was doing what CBs do, deflect a bad pass (like Champ did when Woodyard got his int).

The two safeties forgot to play the ball at the most critical time because they were focused on making a pointless big hit on BM. Mission accomplished Cincy. BM got leveled and the middle LB was left alone to watch Stokely’s vapor trail.

Nice coaching Cincy. Marvin Lewis, say hello to the hot seat. You earned it buddy.

Love the Broncos, don't like their Coach.

Player who didn't go down to celebrate

Marshall. Anyone else think he is dogging it out there? I liked the way Orton ran down the field to celebrate with the guys. That point I’ll give him.

Where will you be on October 1st, 2009 at 6:45 PM Mountain Time?

I think BM's effort was there

He was what, 4 of 8? There’s no doubt that a few of those incompletions could have changed the course of the game had he reeled them in. But I don’t think he was necessarily mailing it in — he did miss a ton of offseason snaps. We’ll know more the next few weeks.

He was running with the team

to celebrate, sure, but also in case Stokely is caught from behind.

I've been wondering about that too

No quotes, no presence in the celebration. I guess as long as he tries his best, I don’t care, but I don’t know how someone would try their best unless he cared about the team he plays for.

I think

Shannon Sharpe told him to let his actions speak for him from now on. I wouldn’t read much more than that into it.

I Absolutely Love Gus Johnson's Call

My wife and I were too busy running around and screaming to notice it until I’ve watched it for a 2nd time. He’s so great and does a fantastic job of capturing the emotion of the moment.

I’ll take Gus over any other play by play guy in the league, simply because of his emotion, though Marv Albert does a great job as well.

it looks great no matter how many times I watch it.

Yesterday Morning I Posted "GO BRONCOS!" on my facebook status

I had a friend tell me that I better start praying for them right now. I closed that prayer with an amen and this youtube clip on my profile! AWESOME!!! That moment was what this team needed in more ways than one. GO BRONCOS!!!

was just thinking that!

Awesome! Also, that throw wasn’t as bad as I remembered it from watching it live. Go Stokes! Tipping drills paid off! So did playing 60 minutes! :-)

Dan Patrick

talked about the miracle play and (to be fair he was good naturedly teasing one of his colleagues who is a Broncos fan) said “Enjoy your four other wins after this one.” Ah man, thanks for harshing our mellow, Dan!

His colleague tried to talk about the improved defense and Doom’s play but Patrick cut him off. Said Cincy should feel bad for losing to team that “is not going to be very good.”

Honestly, I usually like Dan Patrick and this didn’t bother me that much, he can say or predict whatever he wants but I admit to being a little annoyed by his total dismissal of them.

But then he also spent time trying to find ways to defend Jay Cutler’s performance last night and they mostly made fun of him, so I guess it evens out.

Kinda how it’s going to go, alas. The Broncos and Cutler/Bears will be inevitably linked together all season long, against their will, in the media.

experts

I love it every one of the so called experts at espn.com predicted cincy to win. Wonder what dukes was thinking as his love toy cutler threw his 4th int.

That clip will never get old.

I smile and laugh everytime because it is so hard to believe. After the offseason we had, this is a nice start.
