Think about Brandon for a second...

I wanted to take a second to maybe TRY and get inside Brandon Marshall's head. Not #15 of the Denver Broncos but Brandon.

For those of you who have heard or seen Brandon's response to the reporters during today's press session I am sure you have drawn your conclusions. in an effort to be about a player, I pose this theory...

Since Mike Shannahan was fired, The Broncos have been in upheaval. Coach for life Gone, face of the Franchise (Cutler) gone, Brandon Marshall Trade request denied, hip surgery, Suspension, contract extension talks, holding out of optional work outs, New QB new Playbook you name it it happened. For the first few months all that was asked of Brandon was "How do you feel about the way they handled Jay Cutler?", "Will you guys be competative without Jay Cutler?", Will you be as good without Jay Cutler?" he was bombarded with these questions day in and day out. Fast forward to HIS problems, Legal trouble contract extension trade request and the question become "are you healthy, do you want to be here, is this Coach McDaniels fault, do you really want a trade?" the list goes on.

Fast Forward- after week one you woudl figure those questions would all stop, right its football season they have played a game that mattered and won. The questions should focus on the next opponent, and how they are ready for them. Nope we are still in the do you want to be here are you healthy are you staying out of trouble phase of questions. I for one begin to see WHY he would be short snippy and upset with reporters.

I know that the NFL and NFLPA have rules about talking to the media, but dont you think the media should have some rules as well? Its a game week Brandon is TRYING to focus on learning the play book, studying the opponent and beating them, and you ask questions that dont pertain to that?

i am not defending Brandon but how would you feel if you were asked questions about your personal life by someone who had no business asking them in teh work place?
