Marshall for Davis Harris

PrintIm not one to spread rumors, however this is no bleacher report rumor. According to two nfl sources and Adam Schefter, the Broncos are looking to trade Marshall to the Jets, but would want ILB Davis Harris in the trade. Harris has been a stellar backer for the Jets, and I Would do that trade straight up. No Andra Davis, and a really solid group of LB's is what we would have.

Jets might be the kind of team that would take a chance on Marshall too, since they’d probably want to surround Sanchez with as many weapons as possible (limit any chance of failure). But would they seriously give up Harris?
We’d make out like bandits if this happened (considering Marsh’s almost complete lack of value for us at this point).

okay i have cereal palsy arhrtis and chronic fatiue as well i have a grea life loveing folks some days are better that other days i got a make a wish in 2001 saw my favorive team the broncos was the trip of the lifetime i wish everyone couild gotten to enjoy that with me i know some of u hate the broncos and that ok but i bleed organ and bule

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are asking for Jets ILB David Harris in any trade scenario involving Brandon Marshall.
Unsurprisingly, the Broncos have quickly soured on Andra Davis at inside linebacker next to D.J. Williams. The Jets are too thin themselves, and Harris too cheap, young, and good to part with easily. A trade is almost certainly out of the question if the Broncos want Harris and a first-round pick.

ESPN has the “Scouting” tab for Harris locked to Insiders only. I refuse to give them any money. Would someone who is an insider be willing to cut and paste their scouting report (or another?) over here. Don’t do it if there is a copyright/integrity issue. Thanks.

Led the Jets with 117 tackles in 07 I believe and was on his way to having the same year last year before he suffered a torn groin muscle in KC in October.

C’mon, David Harris? Are you serious? A real trade is talent for talent. Case in Point: Portis for Champ.
We’re talking Chris Hinton for Elway right now….
Harris had 127 tackles, 5 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles last year.
Dude’s talented. And Chris Hinton was a Pro Bowl guard. And we’d be getting a draft pick to go along with him.

But Harris is goooooooooooood.
I think we’re overestimating Marshall’s value. Harris + a pick would’ve made sense like 4-5 months ago. Now we’d be lucky just to get Harris.
