Prepare to be amazed!

I was just watching NFL Network (I know a lot of guys here don't like it, but I watch it anyway because I think it's the best MSM around, but it still could be better).  It's amazing, Jamie Dukes actually picked the BRONCOS to win tomorrow!  I was amazed!  He and the other guy (I can't remember his name right now) both picked the Broncos to win tomorrow.  Now, I don't know if this is a good thing or a bad thing, because last year's Broncos would listen to these kinds of things in the Media and then lose.  I have a different feel about this team this year.  It's funny, but they are almost total opposites.  Last year was bad Defense and great offense (until Cutler or someone else on the team tured the ball over).  This year (at least so far) is good solid Defense (I can at least actually trust them to stop a drive) but the offesnse has had trouble scoaring.  They did move the ball well in the preseason, so I am inclined to believe that their offense will pick back up (hopefully that starts tomorrow!).  Overall, I think this team has a lot of talent and has the potential to be great!  I trust McD and what he is trying to do, and I have this feeling he will end up being a great coach.  I can already see miles of improvement from last year (particularly, the most important stat, we are +2 in the turnover category!).  The only problem is that the chances of this team being really good this year is slim.  But, who's to say, the Brocos could be this year's Miam Dolphins of last year, and I hope that does happen this year.  But, the odds are against us.  This does not mean that we stop believing.  We must support this team through thick and thin, just like the fans did in the 60's and the early 70's.  I don't care how bad this team is, I will root for them till the end, but I always hope for this team to be good.  I trust Bowlen and think he has made good decisions.  This team is special, mark my words.  They have a lot of YOUNG talent.  They can be good this year, but we shall see, the main thing is they will be good in the future if not sooner.  Let's hope.....

If we're to compare the Broncos to the Dolphins at all...

Let’s make it the ‘72 Dolphins eh? No, I knew what you meant, the whole ’no one expected’…

; )

That is erie though… Wish I wouldn’t have read that they picked em before the game… Agh, it doesn’t matter… Thaks for the post bro. = )

First team to three consecutive SB wins!!!! and then some, right? I think four and we oughtta let someone else have a fair shot : )

Jamie Dukes???

If we happen to start showing both offense and defense in the same game, do you suppose he will actually refer back to admit he was wrong, or will he just quietly change sides? You know what…… who cares. But its nice to see a little of the MSM hate begin to cool down.

Yeah really

He totally defended Jay Cutler during the same broadcast too. He said three, THREE of his ints were not his fault! He failed to mention the other two almost picks also. He jumps on and off of bandwagons. I remember a few years ago when the Broncos were good and he was all over their jock.. And I’m not one of those guys who are obsessed with Cutler doing bad (I actually felt bad for him, I couldn’t look at him when they showed close ups) I just want him to do bad this year cuz we have their #1.

Dukes??

For the first time I am actually worried we might not win this game…

Precision in thought, concision in style, decision in life.
