With the win, the Denver Broncos are now 18‐5 (.783) all‐time in regular‐season meetings against the Cleveland Browns.

The performance represents Dumervil's eighth multi‐sack game since entering the league in 2006.

Love

Have nothing but love for the Turnover differential right now. Very excited because Denver is getting a feel of how to play their brand of football while the defense is simply executing their style. Here’s hoping for good times ahead!

Dumerville

It’s great to see Dumerville’s name side-by-side with names such as Mecklenberg, Fletcher, Chavous and Jackson. here’s hoping there’s more to come!

Very nice!

•With his 2‐yard touchdown pass to TE Tony Scheffler in the first quarter, QB Kyle Orton improved his career touchdown‐interception ratio inside the red zone to 23:2…

A proud prognostication of 10-6 in 2009!!!

That's impressive.

Feeling Good

This season is feeling good, im not getting my hopes up because our schedule after the Raiders is a possible soul crusher but i have a lot of faith in this team if we get going. When we got Marshall involved was when we really took off. And that gives me a lot of faith.

Go Broncos!

have you watched the Cowboys?

I’m more worried about the raiders at this point than the cowboys. Call me crazy but the cowboys just haven’t impressed me this year. The offense has been productive but sloppy and their defense reminds me of my favorite team’s defense last year…

The Pats, Steelers, and Ravens all look beatable as well

You truely can’t judge teams based off of last year’s records.

People can use statistics to prove anything, 87% of all people know that.

lets go!!!

im excited the broncos are domintating on defense lol beacuse no matter how mediocre kyle orton is, it doesnt matter cuz defense wins Championshipss!!!

by Moneeb C on Sep 21, 2009 11:50 AM MDT reply actions

Except the defense is better

when the offense controls the ball. And Orton and co. did that.

Nothing mediocre about putting up 27 (that should have been 33 or more).

So why doesn't Meck

Get any consideration for the Hall? Because he played here? I must say that I’m surprised by how much the D has improved. And yesterday it finally really showed and spilled over to the O. I know Cleveland isn’t good, but the dominant 2nd half performance was certainly encouraging. I think I just tasted a few drops of the koolaid.

over the last few years

lok at all the teams we managed to lsoe ot that we should have beaten, It was good to see nothing taken for grantedin dominating an inferior team and putting them away instad ofletting them hang around and the get their way back int a game late.

Im loving what Im seeing develope.

Hochstein lining up at FB!

Somebaody hollowed 71 right away and I was surprised Cleveland didn’t call a timeout to counter the play. Great job all around, even Marshall when he decides to get his head out of his own butt.

BTW

Our defense is #1 with points given at 6.5 per game. Great job defense considering we allowed 7 points to a potent offense (Bengals) and the Packers couldn’t hold them. So much for not kicking it to Cribbs he got nowhere this week.

Thanks John, and great post.

Concerning Dooms sacks

I noticed on your stat chart that Meck did it twice in one year. It seems that Doom is being used much as Meck was back in the 70’s and 80’s. Elvis, if continued to be used this way, could be a sack-machine-phenom.

Just a thought.
