Noticing Ryan Harris
Shout out to Ryan Harris. I just wanted to say that after watching the long Buckhalter TD in the fourth Quarter it struck me that the first Bronco with Buckhalter in the end zone was #74 Ryan Harris. Sure enough if you watch the play he makes a great block on the play that opens a nice lane for Buckhalter to run through.
This wouldn't mean much to me except I have read The Blind Side after Broncobear's endorsement. In that book we learn about Steve Wallace who ran down the length of the field after his Niners' skill players so that he might get noticed for the good work of an offensive lineman.
So I wanted to say that I noticed you Ryan and after posting here I hope that everyone else at MHR will notice him too.

Hey Good Post
last week, I took a look at champ and marshall play by play… your post makes me think this week I am going to do a play by play on Ryan. The dude deserves some props.
Smokey, my friend, you are entering a world of pain.

Especially with So many People
being so negative about our offensive line. Hey these guys make more plays than our skill players but we only notice the bad ones.

"It was picture perfect really."
And Buckhalter finished it perfectly. Anyone still wondering why McD signed the guy?
A man does what he has to do, and sometimes it’s not what I believe he should do. There’s no reason to use up energy hating him for it. Shoot him if you have to, but don’t hate him.

I agree, I fully agree that the offensive line got way too much of a bad rap last week
I always like some respect for the O-line, some of the big difference between this week and last, Orton didn’t hold onto the ball too long, even though he had all day most of the time, and they came back to running the ball late in the game. I also noticed a distinct improvement in Moreno’s cut backs, he saw them and was much more decisive this week than last week. Hopefully they can get Peyton Hillis more involved in the run game, I still have no idea why they had Lamont Jordan in at the end of the game instead of Hillis.

Hillis wasn't in
because he was in the dog house for the fumble. :)
I don’t want breakaway speed. I want break-some-poor-fool-as-I-bowl-you-over power getting 6 yards off a play that should have been stopped for 2 at most.

Then why did they give Hillis the TD carry in the 4th quarter

Don't Be
Like the Mother who buys her son a green and gold shirt for Christmas. The son goes into his bedroom and comes out wearing the gold shirt and the mother exclaims “What you don’t like the green one!”
We have good RBs and only one gets to play at a time.

No need to risk Hillis getting hurt when we can use Jordan, i’m guessing.

Kuper was a huge difference

He did and he is a huge upgrade over Hochstein, but man did Kuper get blown up by Shanw Rodgers on Hillis’s TD carry.
Love the Broncos. Mike Nolan is a genius.

Rodgers is good
and it showed man. What a beast, shame there has to be 10 other guys on the field with him.

WOW!
It must take a lot of effort to find negativity in everything. I have bit my tongue many times before after reading your comments, but enough is enough…. You’re definitely my least favorite personality here at MHR. I would rather hear what my Raider fans friends have to say than you.

That was a reply to McGeorge if you can't tell.
I felt dirty typing his name, quick I have to go shower before I start typing that we’re only 2-0 because the teams we played SUCK!

Indeed
It is good to have him back in there.
Maybe we should just have a regular article each week called “Highlighting the Big Men” and we can point out the plays where the lineman rocked the previous game and didn’t get any accolades.

One of my favorite Broncos...
plus I like the fact that he was on the MTV show True Life.

I need to watch the game again.
I thought Harris was giving up quite a bit of ground on pass plays in the first half, less so in the second half. So I guess I was noticing him for the wrong reasons.

It does in retrospect seem that his side was the focus of the Cleveland D,
but I’m not enough of an X and O man to know if there were designs in there that made it harder for Harris. What I think I remember is that there were no holding calls against him…got to be a plus there also.

The Point
is just to remember that if our RB had a huge play that caused a TD and the rest of his game was mediocre we would be heralding the day he had. For an offensive lineman they can have a huge block that causes a TD and play mediocre and we will sit and complain about them.
He had a good play right then and I wanted to give him a spotlight. Booyah!
