PrintQuestion: can the Broncos (and any other thursday night team) cut down to 53 on Friday? I see a nice benefit if they can. I know the players have to pass a 24 hour waiver but does it START at 2pm Saturday? The wording is that each team has to be at 53 BY 2pm Saturday.
If Denver players are available by saturday morning then those teams would have to cut someone before claiming a Denver FA. If possible this may get a couple of players waived for the PS.

But once the 24 hour waiver period is over...
…and they are signed to a practice squad, no other team can claim them off the PS. The other team can make him an offer which the player can refuse, or the team that has him on their PS can make a better offer and the player can decide to stay with that team.
A man does what he has to do, and sometimes it’s not what I believe he should do. There’s no reason to use up energy hating him for it. Shoot him if you have to, but don’t hate him.
