MY Final team

Ok, so i took your advice on who i shood get and i joined a league that was about $125. It is a 12 team league and It is a ppr format. (Points Per Reception) I Would appreciate any input that is offered on how my team looks and which one is better. I have 2 teams.

TEAM#1

QB: Matt Ryan and Trent Edwards

RB: Kevin smith, steve slaton, rashard mendenhall, james davis glen cofee

WR: Greg jennings, chad ochocinco, desean jackson, chris henry, jeremy maclin, kevin walter

TE: John carlson

K: Ryan Longwell

Defense: Bucs

TEAM#2

QB: Jay Cutler and trent edwards

RB: Chris johnson, ryan grant, reggie bush, peyton hillis

WR: Wes Welker, Eddie Royal, devin hester, jabar gaffney, donnie avery, steve breaston

TE: Zach miller and heath miller

K: nate kaeding

Defense: Dolphins

Honestly, I like your second team more.

If possible, I would dump Trent Edwards and go for another QB. Matt Schaub could put up big numbers this year.

like your 1st team way more

love the b/u runners on the 1st team….I expect those guys to be making plays this year….I also like your WR corps w/ 1st team better…only b/c of the depth….I like DJax over Hester et al…….love the carlson pick too….again, really like the players on the 1st team…..if you wanted to pair up w/ Cutler, I think Olsen is gonna be a better fit than Hester.

The Bucs D?? I honestly would take Denver’s D over the Bucs, although I am taking Denver’s D over most teams in my formats….certainly the Bucs though…..I expect disaster there.
love the MIA D…..should go well 4 ya…….ref QBs, I like Edwards, but I like Orton better, also I think Quinn is comparable to Edwards, but his WR corps is weak…..it may start to look better after several weeks though…..I’d watch that

Nasty

I agree with Tomeboy and ALMOST completely disagree with BidesheBronco. Team 1 is brutal. YA it has more depth but the starters are pretty weak.

Team 2 is WAY better. its a PPR league which makes welker and royal really valuable. Slaton should do well also for team 1.

Too tired to go into detail but team 2 will do pretty good if you can pick the right combo of RBs. Zach miller was a nice pick. Once again PPR value. Bush may be more valuable than Grant.

I agree with Nasty on the PPR factor here.

Also Hillis and C. Johnson will be getting reception points for any screens they run. Both teams look above average, but I don’t see them as all star teams. You have a decent chance at contending but it’s going to rely alot on you making the right gameday calls.
