It looked like it was the same play. They ran it at their right guard and cut it back once he hit the second level and finished it off on the left sideline. It’s like deja vu.

Fox just sucks butt all the way around… stupid dancing robot, ridiculously bad/cheesy pre-game show, refusal to give me HD feed in my area, bad commentators….

The saints can do no wrong.
Their running game is on fire and their passing game is on fire. The flea flicker is the perfect play when your running game is drawing defenders into the box. What a touchdown pass.

The saints are staying balanced, too.
15 passing attempts and 13 rushing attempts. They could put up 60 points if they keep going on offense like they are already.

It's amazing to me how open he actually was.
Brees didn’t put enough mustard on that ball. It hung in the air and his receiver had to wait on it, but he was already so far ahead of the defender that it didn’t matter. The perfect pass would have been about 5 yards into the endzone.
You’re completely right, though. Orton’s receivers don’t get that separation, so his passes need to be crisper and more accurate.

That Rogers-Cromartie leg injury from earlier in the game is showing up right now.
The cards can’t cover all 5 of the saints receivers. Brees just has so many options.

It’s very tough to be able to matchup against all of the saints’ weapons. It certainly doesn’t help when you lose a player like Rogers-Cromartie, though.

I can't wait for the Ravens/Colts game. That's going to be a good one, IMO.
So far, the NFL is 1 for 5 as far as quality games are concerned. Pretty lame. Hopefully, we can get some good ones later this weekend.

I think Rackers should be gone after this season if he plays like this. In big games, he disappears.
He just cost the cardinals field position by kicking out of bounds and he has missed very important field goals in the last two games. He’s not having a good day, for sure.

I look forward to the playoffs specifically because I like watching competitive, close games. So far this year, excepting last week’s Pack/Cards game, all we’ve seen are blowouts. Boring!!
