Horse Tracks 1/17/10 - Saints, Colts romp their way to conference title games

Well, as I said the other day (not that it was rocket science), but a team that gives up 45 points at home in the playoffs does not qualify as a "threat." Happy viewing today, Friends!

Thanks Doug
Voted Vikings and Jets…. Obviously want the Chargers to loose… and dont want either Colts or Chargers to win a superbowl, so think the Vikings offer a better chance of preventing that…

I know I am not supposed to read the DP, but what’s with Woody? He seems to have gone off the deep end with the I love Shanny and I hate McDaniels stuff.
How do you predict 8-8?
Isn’t there a whole offseason to go? Yeah, Woody, okay….

I just saw that, too -- terrible!
So sad and shocking. I wonder what the heck happened? Maybe he had an unknown heart condition or something. How terrible.

Meanwhile, I wrote to Woody Paige on twitter
(even though I’m sure he won’t see it or acknowledge it):
@woodypaige With all due respect, may I suggest not writing about Broncos for awhile? Your misinformed antiMcD vendetta colors your judgment
(Hard to express what I REALLY feel in 140 characters ;-) but I tried)

I'm rooting for the Vikes and Jets
and picking whoever Bena thinks will lose :)

Yah
I’m rooting for Vikes and Jets today, though still rooting for Saints overall. And if Chargers win today I’ll root for the Colts next week.
Basically it’s Anyone But the Chargers, and the Saints, for me. ;-)

and who’s rooting for the Chargers? Are boltsfromtheblue people coming over here and messing with the poll. :)
I'm glad we had this talk.

Thanks, Doug.
Boy, I don’t think I’ve ever been so frustrated watching another team play. It’s really difficult to root for a team when they keep squandering chances like the Ravens did. I tried, though.
