Well, it looks like SD needs to look for a new kicker. Boy that is 4 missed FGs he has had in the playoffs vs. the Jets.

The Jets traded up in the first round with the Browns to draft Sanchez so it only adds fuel to the fire for those of us who want Orton replaced. In fact all of the “Final 4” qbs are franchise qbs who are Favre, Brees, Manning, and Sanchez. Manning was the 1st pick in the draft, Sanchez 5th or 6th in the 1st round, and Favre and Brees were high 2nd round picks. McDaniels needs to use a high draft pick and get a great qb or he won’t last long in Denver!!
I'd hardly call Sanchez a franchise QB....
Maybe he develops into one, but right now give me Orton over Sanchez all day long…

But no QB carried three teams to the SB with less talent than Elway had. Figure in he played in a conservative Reeves offense through his prime, and I’d put him over anyone to play. Hard for me to say cause it makes me feel old, but Elway and Manning played in different eras in my opinion. The rules keep changing every year to help the offense, and, therefore the QB, so it’s really hard to compare. I am also an admitted homer, and that probably affects my thoughts greatly.
I know I'm late to the party here but I really can't resist.

in all the land who talked smack all season, especially the last two months, who arrogantly assumed they were the champs of all the land, who mocked the Broncos mercilessly, who mocked us mercilessly, and who basically and in all ways and forms behaved like total dumbasses.
And not for any Charger fans out there who are quieter and classier. Sorry for you. But there were far too many really smug Charger fans posting and commenting as if they’d won a bunch of Super Bowls. You what score matters to me?
