Vikings Rout the Cowboys

The playoffs continued this weekend with a Vikings 34-3 rout of the Dallas Cowboys.

The Vikings passing game led by Brett Favre was simply too much for the Cowboys. Sidney Rice had 3 touchdowns and 141 yards.

Romo was sacked a total of 6 times. Vikings DE Ray Edwards put up 3 sacks, and Leber picked up an interception. Romo also fumbled 3 times, mostly after being sacked, and lost 2 of those.

The Vikings red zone efficiency was also high at 50 percent, and Dallas had a 0 percent. Dallas was only in the Red Zone one time all day, and they did not convert.

From what I saw it looked the Vikings pass rush was relentless. Romo simply did not have enough time to get the Dallas passing game going.

Another big rout this weekend was the Colts over the Ravens 20 to 3.

The NFC championship game should be great in a showdown between the Vikings, and the Saints.
