A Soft Organization

After the Ravens thoroughly destroyed the Broncos both physically and mentally, I was looking for someone to blame. But the more I thought about the game, the more I realized, this is who the Broncos are. They are a soft organization.

The proof is in the pudding. When was the last time the Broncos were the more physical team, or the more aggressive team? When was the last time they finsished a season strong, instead of limping to the finish line? When was the last time (since Elway) that a single player willed the team to victory?

The organization, from the top down, is soft. They hire coaches who are more tactical than aggressive. They draft smart productive players, but never the most physical. Their strength and conditioning seems to be inadequate, because shouldn't a team that practices and plays above sea level be able to run circles around teams at sea level? And when they play a physical team, they end up having more injuries than healthy bodies.

As a lifelong, die hard Bronco fan, it pains me to watch this team get physically embarrassed week after week with no response. I can only hope change is on the horizon, because as it stands now, The Denver Broncos are nothing more than a whipping boy for the rest of the league's better teams.
