Now that Zane Beadles has apparently supplanted Ryan Harris at RT, one has to ask whether we'd be better served with Harris at LG in front of Hochstein and Daniels. 6'4" 300-320 is prototypical for left guards, Harris is 6'5" 300, why not? From what I've seen of Daniels and Hochstein, and what I've seen out of Harris in the past I'd say this is a no-brainer if McD is dead set on putting his second-rounder at RT and still keeping the best 5 on the field.
I thought that Harris would transition well, but maybe he isn't a great fit for this system (although I thought he did well last year). Either way, I have a hard time believing that Ryan Harris isn't as good as Russ Hochstein or Stanley Daniels - even if it's not at his normal position. I just can't buy that.
Size-wise: Remember, the Pats drafted Mankins in the first round, so that has to be considered the benchmark for this system -
Logan Mankins - 6'4" 307-310
Ryan Harris - 6'5" 300
Russ Hochstein - 6'4" 305
Stanley Daniels - 6'4" 320
