Blown Out!
Sweet Lord! What voodoo curse did McDaniels incur this week??
The commentator has just described the Raiders game as a comedy of errors. That's being polite, and I'm not laughing. It's utterly abysmal. One of those days when everything goes as badly as it can for you, and as well as it can for your opponent. You can be as nice as you like, but let's call it what it is. Horrendous. I'm wondering if this will start the calls for McDaniels' head.....?
On the positive, the Broncos can't play as badly again next week when I get to watch them in London. But 38-0 midway through the 2nd quarter?? Against the Raiders? Jeez, that's just not good enough.
Yes, the more softly spoken on this site may say I'm being hard, but really? The injuries are one thing, and I'm the first to admit that as a result of that, I've always thought that we would struggle this year. We are just not putting any consistent pressure on the QB, we can't run the ball and our home record is marginally better than the Lions' away form. But at least our special teams have improved this year - notably the punting!!
Aaaaagh!! This just ruins the week. Let's hope the Niners don't show up next week.
But what's this?? Dear Gawd, the Broncos have scored. Saved by Moreno. Bang goes my critique! What a powerhouse we are. Or aren't. You can decide.
Perhaps this is the start of an NFL comeback of exceptional proportions perhaps....?
Exhale. Relax. Breath. Go Broncs.....
At least I'll have McD's ear next week in London!! Please, please don't play like this again. Ever.

Dude the Niners beat the Faders
who are beating the brakes off of us. We may win 2 more if we’re lucky.
Mate...
I’ll be attending the game next week too. I was excited for 10 months now, but this game so far ruined it all!
I’m really dman pissed, 38-14 now, hope they turn it around!
How hot is McDs seat now?
You know that $h!+ feeling we as Bronco faithful are going thru, getting our ass handed too us by none other than the Faders….???
Just imagine how Bowlen is feeling right about now

Yeah
The calls for McDaniels’ head started the day he got hired and have only gotten multiplied and louder since. I agree that this is an embarrassment beyond words, but that’s no reason to make a move just now. I’ll wait this season out, look for how the staff handles this situation before I pass judgement myself…

I agree EJ, people are going to call for Orton and McD's heads
And it was a very terrible game, and the whole team shares blame, but I doubt he’ll be fired.
I am a bear of very little brains and big words bother me.
McDaniels coached like an egotistic maniac today risking our star quarterback to a serious injury when the game clearly out of hand...
I’ve had some issues with some of his play calling but to leave our starting QB out there in pointless time was attrocious! If I was Pat Bowlen (and I’m not) I’d be chewing him another ass…
Broncos need to have another team meeting--and gut check
A 59-14 blowout by the Raiders over the Broncos indicates a total lack of discipline by the
players.
It started on the first interception of the game by Kyle Orton which led to a TD score by
Johnson. Then Demarius Thomas fumbled the ball which led to another score.
The players need to have another players only team meeting and talking to from Brian Dawkins. Whenever Dawkins isn’t playing the Denver defense seems to have problems.
At the end of the season the Broncos will probably have to bring in either a new Offensive and/or Defensive Coordinator. Firing McDaniels is also another option if
this kind of meltdown continues.
There is really no excuse for this kind of butt whipping by the Raiders, and team leaders need to step up.
The man I feel for is Pat Bowlen....
He always empties his wallet with no questions asked and caoches and teams have let him down BIGTIME. We go to work tomorrow and he watches his millions wasted. That would dishearten anyone.
