The story just doesn't change, does it?  The Denver Broncos - as a team - just don't make the plays necessary to win football games.  It comes down to the complete lack of a running game - the ability to pound the football when you know and the other team knows that is what you're going to do.  We can complain about shoddy penalty calls but the fact remains.  The Denver Broncos are 2-6 and they deserve every bit of that record.

Now officially on their BYE week there will be plenty of time to talk about what can be done to salvage the mess this season has become.  I will say this - if changes are going to be made on the field, NOW will be the time to make them.
