Mr Bowlen

I posted this as a comment on 4-12 until we aren't.  Decided to expand the thoughts and see what the comments are.

I talked about the hiring of head coach McD.  I and many other folks felt that the smart hire for a head coach was a defensive minded head coach to compliment the very potent offence we had building.  Unfortunately, Mr Bowlen decided to try to go back to the future and hired a young offensive "genius".  That had worked out well before for Mr Bowlen before so I guess I could see his logic.   Unfortunately for Bronco Fans it hasn't worked out so well this time.  The new offensive "genius" took over an offence that was very good and a defence that needed much improvement in 2009.  Now we have a defence that hasn't improved at all and an offence that can't find the endzone with a GPS and a roadmap.  For me I am feeling very let down.  I expected to see improvement and more importantly effort.   I thought that this head coach was all about character guys.  Usually when you think of character guys there is no lack of effort or aggressiveness.   Now, Mr Bowlen, if you decide to make a head coaching change the new guy will have to fix both sides of the ball.
