Everyone not yellow only gets early games and everyone in yellow only gets late? Thats BS!!! Broncos should be on everywhere at 4 on CBS!!!!!!!

Contractual obligations or something. CBS gets one game per market this week, FOX gets two. Of course, the game does have pretty good national coverage, so you could probably find a bar broadcasting it somewhere if you were willing to travel.

Harlan is gold

I think you’re thinking of Mitch Holthus, though. He’s the current radio voice of the Chiefs, and maybe the best in the business. He always says, “Touchdown, kannnnsssaaaaasss city! Touchdown, Larry Johnson!” After every chief td.

You are correct.

Mitch Holthus is the current voice of the Chiefs.

Harlan did play-by-play for them from 1985 to 1993 though, and during that time he started the “Touchdown, Kannssaass Cittyy!” thing that Holthus carried over when he took over in ‘94. Just the fact that Harlan started that thing is enough to make me hate him. It’s what all my friends yell and text me every time they want to heckle me about the Broncos.

I didn’t realize Harlan had been around that long. I really enjoy his work. Too bad they always put him with Randy Cross or Solomon Wilcots, because both of those guys suck.

I do like Mitch Holthus, though. I enjoy Dave Logan, but I wish we had a true radio guy doing the PBP for the Broncos like Holthus or Brad Sham, or even Mark Johnson, if they could convince him to move from the Buffs to the Broncos. I hate listening to Johnson on the Rockies games, but he’s great for football.

Well I get the game since SD is on a bye.

I just hope the Broncos show some attitude for the whole game. We really NEED a win.

is a great play-by-play broadcaster. Once you go national, I forgive the greats of previous pasts, unless it’s Dave Logan, nothing needs to be forgiven!
