Question ?
Is fullback Spencer larson on the injured reserve list ?
I searched a couple of broncos sites ..I dont see any listings with him being placed
on …. IR… If he is not on IR I am getting tired of His extended abscence and non
production . Right now he is a waste of roster space.. This guy was supposed to be
the person blasting open holes for our running backs.. Can someone help me out
understanding what the deal is with him ?

He was injured for a couple weeks before the bye
I’m assuming he’s healthy now, based on his absense from the injury report above. He’s definitely not on IR, and hopefully he’ll be productive blocking against the Chiefs solid front 7.
As for his production, I’m in New England, and I can assure you that a lot of the formations don’t include a fullback (3 WRs, TE, RB, or 2 WR’s, 2 TE’s, RB), at least in the offense that McD ran here, so depending on the scheme for the game he can certainly be on the sidelines for long stretches, but that would be true of any fullback.

He is around
around the Baltimore game we switched over to trying to use the 3WR set a lot more, and Larsen isn’t on the field for that one. Additionally, the addition of Gronk has phased out Larsen who was usually the 3rd TE in the 3TE set.
We just don’t use the FB sets that often, but he probably gets around 10-15 plays a game at least. He has been blocking well, and he had a great reception several weeks ago. He is often tasked with blocking the perimeter, on stretch type plays, and those side to side plays have a lot of moving parts, so the Broncos haven’t been seeing a lot of success in those sets despite Larsen blocking well.
Also, he is super reliable on STs, and despite the last losing streak, our STs has been playing significantly better (outside of a Jarvis Moss penalty and Colquitt’s weak punting effort vs. SF).

OT: Any Broncos fans in Bay Area/SF want to watch the game Sunday somewhere?
Let me know, can reply to me here or ping me via my twitter. :-)
I really need to be around other fans to either celebrate or commiserate this week.
There's no need to fear, Underdog is here! / Broncos/Dodgers/Lakers fan in Niners/Raiders/Giants/Warriors country, and damned proud of it.
Just got done listening to Wink over at DB.com
After responding to a question about McD’s relationship with Weiss/Crenell, Wink went on to say, “The bottom line is, this is the Broncos against the Chiefs. We can’t stand the Chiefs, were gonna go play football.” Finally some rivalry hate. I’m starting to love this guy. After listening to Wink, Dawk, and Coach, I’m getting fired the freak up about this game. Even though it doesn’t look like it on paper, I think this game is the best chance we have at getting a W all year. I have a feeling this team is going to pull a 180 and sweep the division. GO BRONCOS!!!
I really hope the team comes out fired up.

In the words of Jim Morrison
“Well I’ve been down so GD long, that it looks like up to me.” I’m tired of being down on my team, and I hope (through actions, not words) they give me reason to smile on Sunday. When Dawk was asked to tell reporters what the team was working on/going to do different, to turn the ship around, he replied, “We can’t tell you, We’re going to have to go out there and show you.” That man could fire up the polar ice caps. I predict a statement win on Sunday, and I predict that Knowshon will get his, first ever, 100+ yd. game. GO BRONCOS!!
