OT but this made me chuckle but also feel bad for the vagabond Andre Brown:

RT @PostBroncos RB Andre Brown is back on the practice squad. Quite a roller coaster for Brown. This year, he's been with the Giants, Broncos, Colts, Panthers and back to Denver.

How many do we have now?

So, how many backs do we have?
Maroney → active?
Moreno – active
Buckhalter – active?
ball → active
brown → ps

Seems like a lot of players. It also seems like McD is trying to get younger as well.

that's not a lot of RBs really

esp given health concerns in the past for 3 of them. or just about all of them actually.

You forgot.

White → IR

I think Buck’s done after this year, And I think they’ll draft a speedy little back (At least i want them to) So next year it would look like:

Moreno → Primary
White → Bruiser
(Unnamed Speedster) → Change of Pace back

Then we’d probably keep 1 or 2 more (maybe Maroney or Ball) as a reserve since they are similar to Moreno’s size…

just my 1/2 a cent.

Quit drinking the Kool-Aid and start drinking the good stuff, and everything is always alright.

Sounds about right to me too

Buck is definitely about done and gone after this year. Of course we can’t assume we can count on White either but that would be nice. Maybe Maroney, Ball or even Brown will fill out the depth but agree that they should take another back for sure in the next draft.

This reminds of a story on

the Onion about a baseball player, Who’s constant career mirrored the song Rock’n Me by Steve Miller.

Travellin man, just Rock’n ME

"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work."
- Thomas Alva Edison

"Success is not a place at which one arrives, but rather... the spirit with which one undertakes and continues the journey."
- Alex Noble

Hey, I hope he stays around here and does good things for us.

Haven’t seen Maroney with the healthy O Line, so I don’t know how he’ll be. Ball looked okay, but I don’t think he’s in the same league with a healthy Moreno (the things Moreno does with his legs is insane).

I’ll have to wait until after Monday’s game to opine on whether or not we are needy at RB, but if he’s ready to play hard, it can’t hurt to have him.

I wish him all the luck in the world

Bouncing all over the country, trying to learn yet another new system quickly, probably living in hotels because he doesn’t dare sign a lease, getting called to the manager’s office again only to be told he’s being let go. The kid’s psyche has got to be taking a horrible beating. Sometimes I miss the pre-internet NFL, I could enjoy the meal without knowing how the sausage was made.

Best of luck to him. I hope he sticks this time and has a successful career with Denver.
