I wonder if Gates will play
Not that it matters that much. Rivers has plenty of weapons to fire at.
We bought this teritory with our body and souls then we watered it with our tears.
Perrish Cox better be ready. This will be his toughest test so far.
I hope Robert Ayers sits so he can fully heal. We may be just fine with Haggan and Mays.
I could see Antonio Gates trying to play, only to leave after the first or second series when he realized he is in too much pain. That will help the Broncos if it happens, because it’ll partially disrupt the flow of the Chargers’ offense.

Well
the Chargers can’t really run the football that well either and the Chiefs can, so let’s get Ayers healthy for the stretch run. He knows better than anyone else and I know he’ll make the right call

The Chargers can run the ball
I’m not sure where you got that from. Stats are a little low because they’ve been behind in some games. But the yards/carry is good. They can run when they have the opportunity or when they need to. It looks like Mathews will be out, but Tolbert can carry the load. He’s a load himself.
Mr. Tolbert
meet Mr. Mays (#51.)

Correction:
the Chargers will run as effectively as Chris Johnson and the Chiefs did.

We've Played
against Tolbert before. He’s had some success against us but I really think Joe Mays is the kind of player that can change everything. His presence did last week along with Mario Haggan’s sack hat trick

Dismayed by the Royal re-injury....
I wonder if that means Decker or just more DT……My guess is more DT!
Officially on record with a 10-6 prediction for 2010! (8/21/10)

So
Eddie practiced, thus I think he’ll play. If not, is it Eric Decker’s coming-out party?

If Gates is out or limited it's huge for us
Nanee won’t be playing, and Floyd will but no one know’s how effective he’ll be, Champ will likely cover him most of the game. That leaves Crayton and a bunch of fill ins at the position. The Chargers have had a terrible year at WR(injury wise/holdout) outside of Gates and Floyd with flashes of Nanee.
The injuries they've had have been horrible
The receivers themselves are dangerous

If the rush doesn't get to Rivers
then the D will simply need to rough up the receivers. After each catch, if the D can be physical and make them pay, then they’ll begin to worry about future hits, and that will affect their play toward the end of the game. I hope they will do just that and if the Broncos’ offense clicks, the Chargers should be playing catch-up with a bunch of tentative receivers.
Of course, this is the best case scenario for how our defense should play this offense.

Patrick Crayton
is a pouter too. He can play well when he wants to, but generally he sulks and sulks and sulks. Nice!

The Chargers actually run the ball quite well
They just haven’t had to or they have been behind. When the need to, they can pound the ball.
I Get
the impression the Chargers can run the ball well, hopefully not tomorrow. Joe Mays is a diamond in the rough. Shame on Wink for not using him sooner

Not to jab at you but...
That doesn’t reflect in your win/loss record (the need to part of your statement). Your team has only sucked one game less than ours. Let’s face it both teams have blown it in several games.

Must win for Broncos or McDaniels
A lot of people are talking about how this game is really the gate to the playoffs. With the horrid records in our division, it might still be mathematically possible for the Broncos to still be in it, even if they lose. The only easy games the Dolts have through the rest of the season are San Fran and Cincinnati. Granted the Chefs have a relatively easy schedule, but the last two losses, especially the one against the Broncs, make it tough to determine the realy strength of that team. The Faiders have a tough schedule from here on out.
However, this game might be more of a determining factor of the future for McDaniels than the team. If the Broncos can’t win against a crippled Chargers team, with most of the Broncos players healthy, it might raise some eyebrows. And, Bill Parcells just said he’d like to possibly get back into coaching again. Would he be a good fit for Bowlen and his management team?
Presumptive
as your assessment is, I hope not to find out. Changing coaches ruins stability

I gotta agree with ya Brad...
McD and company have a plan. It’s needs a little more time to come to fruition. Of course a win on Monday will be a huge thing. I expect to see a very high scoring game with the winner (Denver) having the ball last. 60 points +.

I for one
would puke if we brought in Parcells. Let Coach get his 3 years. I like a fresh approach.
