Vikings fire HC Brad Childress
Vikings fire Brad Childress and promote DC Leslie Frazier to interim HC for the rest of the season. Very interesting. How about a new QB too?

Frazier
finally gets his HC shot under less-than-ideal circumstances, kinda like Garrett in Dallas.
Big fan of that guy
I was leaning his way to fill our vacancy when Shanny left. Watching his presser, you get the sense that that guy means bizness.
In good times and bad times, I'm a Bronco fan. Sucka.

Next to go....

It's interesting...
I thought that the Vikings might fire Childress, but like many, I expected it to be AFTER the 2010 season.
Honestly though, this is really the only bad year that Childress has had as the Vikings HC. They owner sure gave up on him pretty quick…

And after the contract extension
Childress got last year the owner is going to take a finacial hit.

Yep. It was a stupid decision IMO.
The problem was Brett Favre, not Childress.

Seriously?
No, Favre’s not playing well, but if you have watched the Vikes over the past few seasons, you know that they have OFTEN won in spite of Chili.
This was overdue. Unfortunately for the Vikes, they missed their shot at Shanny.
Unfortunately
for the Vikes, they missed their shot at Donovan McNabb. Washington can still win the NFC East as jacked-up as it sounds

I remember when Frazier was considered a favorite for the Denver coaching job
Should be interesting to see. That whole orginization might have to go through a rebuilding phase IF they go to another HC. that might affect the Vikings decision for the future.
They are overall an older team, and with the QB position likely influx next year will they be willing to keep all their older talent with a likely young and inexperienced QB next year? It will be an interesting development
I will be keeping on them for the same reason.
