The time may be near for the Mile High Messiah to take the field

Steve Young may have just said it best in reference to our Offense...there is no continuity out there with the Offensive line, players seem to be out there playing their own game and not doing the extra "little" things that it takes to sustain drives and make plays. The way I see it, our Broncos seem to struggle against adversity on offense...the youthful O-line seems to consistently lose confidence once a couple bad plays happen. So many times this season we have witnessed an explosive offense seemingly sputter for 3-4 drives at a time, leaving our Defense with short fields to defend too often...especially with the key injuries that have plagued our Broncos on that side of the ball...

I am a huge supporter in what Neckbeard Orton has been able to accomplish this season, especially with the utter lack of a run game up until the bye week. With that said, seeing the inconsistencies on our Offense in the ability to get crucial first downs when deep on our own end to compliment our beleaguered Defense...I just am really starting to believe it just might be inching near the time to see The Mile High Messiah, Tim Tebow take the field. Yes, our offense would not be nowhere near as explosive in the passing game, however being able to move around in the pocket and pick up first downs is something Orton lacks and this team obviously needs. Our Offense needs to be able to pick up first downs and needs to keep our Defense in manageable situations...and above all, this team needs some type of spark to light a fire under their a$$ and I think we have that guy on our sidelines poised to do so soon.

A ton of "bad bounces, bad calls" have happened to the Broncos all year long...the only thing more disheartening than some of our bad luck has been the way this team has responded on the field to this type of adversity...and that is where Kyle Orton should be able to raise the team's confidence back up and it simply has not happened. Kyle Orton does give us the best chance to win right now, but with one more loss...it is time to see our best chance at winning in the future take the horse by the mane.
