Today We Should Be Happy

There have been so many Bronco issues and happenings with our beloved Broncos these past few weeks that I have decided that I have had enough.   And enough is enough.    I have just today become fired up aftrer reading a post by Bronx where he talks about all the recent changes.     Double check with me after today's game with the Rams LOL.

When I think of the position we are in at this point considering the recent drafts and FA signing signings,  I think of the days when the Broncos were a very good team.    We had an orange crush defense with Atwater and company.   A very good offense with Elway and company but we didn't become the dominant Super Bowl team till we got Terrell Davis. ( correct me if I am wrong )  He seemed to score touchdowns at will and we were going into half time scoring 20 to 30 points consistantly.    It was the most fun you could possibly have watching football.     I was disappointed every time TD didn't go for 20 yards and Elway didn't throw across his body running to his right and throwing a strike across the field to the left.  lol.

The details are not important, but the point I am trying to make is that we may be that one or two players away from  turning our team around.     With all the criticism heaped on McDaniels and Xanders and the crying for a new GM, I wonder how many GM's and HC's could manipulate that wild Draft which had so many of us openly amazed.   It was like a rubic cube.   We need to give up the old ways of old and experienced and watch what our young brainiacs can do.

I give you a Mea-Culpa for myself for all the ranting I did right along with all of us who feel like it's the end of football life as we know it.       We have many ready-to-burst young guys on our bench that would be on the field with most teams.     I have long since closed the chapter on Hillis, Cutler, Sheff and you-know-who,    It's time to watch and learn folks and get excited about what McDaniels and Xanders have in mind for us.   They have made mistakes but they are reading MHR and they have the message.   Thank you   Semper-Fi
