I don't have any fancy Chiefs/Broncos picture to share this time, but I'll take what craig in calgary did last time and run with it. I know I'm probably still a bit early in the week, but it seems to me that you might want to get the bad taste from yesterday's game out of your mouth. This will let you concentrate on the shellacking you gave us a few weeks ago. I know at least I am anxious to keep looking ahead, and ready to get some payback this week in Arrowhead.
I'm glad to be able to come back to this blog again this season, since last time was an enjoyable experience. Normally, I would make smart remarks about all the things the Chiefs do better than the Broncos, but the memory of the game in Denver is too fresh for that. I do find it strange that that game strayed so far from the tendencies of both teams, especially since it seems we both went back to form immediately after that.
That being said, I am having a hard time seeing anything other than a win for the Chiefs. The advantage we get at Arrowhead seems to push this back in our favor, and that garbage time in Denver really seemed to help our offense click as a unit.
I'll be conservative and predict a final score of Chiefs 35-17.
Please feel free to ask any Chief-related questions here, and someone from AP will be happy to answer them.
My only question is if you think that the garbage-time (that turned into a competitive game) can act as the same sort of springboard to better play by the Broncos, whether or not it actually leads to wins?
