For the past two seasons we have seen our beloved Broncos come off the bye in a prime position for a playoff push only to be letdown by shameful losses and a lot of dreadful Sunday afternoons in December. This year the Broncos are coming off the bye week 2-6 and written off by the whole NFL as a lackluster team with no hope. In the NFL, a forgotten team is a very dangerous team and the whole NFL needs to look out because we are coming fast and hard. How can I be so optimistic with the Broncos losing 4 straight games and on pace to go 4-12? I can tell you quite simply in two words: I Believe. I will continue to believe until the day we are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs because the Broncos are more than just a team to me. Why do we wait so patiently by our computer on Wednesday for the practice report to come out to see if Robert Ayers is back of the field? Why do we post countless blogs about the Broncos at four in the morning Monday morning after a huge win in Tennessee? The reason is, no matter how angry or frustrated we get after a loss, we still can't wait for the next game.
The Broncos are more than a team to us. They are what gets us through those long stressful days when we are down and what keeps us up at night spending countless hours scouring the internet for any article written with the word Bronco in it. If there is one thing i have learned from watching this team for the past several years is that things are never as bad as they seem. This team is about to come back from a first half that saw them play four games in a row against the Colts, Titans, Ravens and Jets. Oh by the way after they were done those games they flew to London with a ton of injuries to play the 49ers. This team is rested and is ready to come together for the second half. Is it just me or does Knowshon look like a completely different back then last year? He is running hard and with a purpose. Every day our line is getting healthier and growing together as a unit. Look for Knowshon to have a monster second half behind a much improved offensive line. Kyle Orton will finally have a running game and defenses will have to respect it. I for one can't wait for the second half, we are going to surprise a lot of people. So get back on those message boards guys and gals, bye week is over and the Broncos are prime for a playoff push!
