If Tebow Does Not Play, Here's Why
If Tebow does not play, its because McD and the execs have already had the conversation.
"When is Tebow going to play?"
"He's not coming along as expected, in fact, he's not very good. Goal line package is all."
"Alphonso Smith again?"
"Approximately."
If Tebow does not play, its to hide where he is at so that they can maximize trade value in the offseason.
It would make sense given all that has happened, and add fuel to the fire that McD could absolutely not run another draft.
It would also make sense given that Studesville did not, and seems has no inclination of playing him.
Orders are coming from above.

I see where you are coming from but...
Given what we have seen I really doubt that “he’s not coming along as expected” is the reason.
I really think that its because they feel they need to give Orton his entire shake, given that they just resigned him. Thats my thought anyways, whether I think its a good idea or not.

Pure speculation
Throw an IMO in there and you’re good but it can’t be stated as fact. More likely IMO that Denbronx is on the money here in addition they’re probably trying to protect their investment in him by not putting him in when it’s garbage time. It could be argued either way but without knowledge of what’s going on inside there’s no way to really know….IMO..:)
"as in football so in life"
IMO is always implied, just by virtue of posting on a fan blog.
It is very clear that this is speculation, and requires no disclaimers. Does The Onion need to write “just kidding” after every story?
Honestly?
Obviously it’s his opinion, or he wouldn’t be writing it.

but when you preface it with IMO
it comes off as more polite, or what have you. It’s also a bit more noncombative, IMO. See ;)
I see a glass that's twice as big as it needs to be.
IMO - Tebow won't play until the next Broncos home game.
Broncos fans are at a boiling part for Tebow and once they find out that he will start at home, interest in the game will sky rocket. If they start Tebow next week in Oakland and he sucks….. then the buzz around him will fall (albeit slightly) for the home game
Don't you think it will sky rocket no matter
if he plays this week or not? What I mean is if they start him this week at Oakland, I think the game at home against the Texans will be be huge and skyrocket even with him starting the week before.
I could be wrong, but I don’t think starting him at Oakland is going to kill interest for his first home game.
I do think,
Starting him at Oakland is asking for a lot of trouble. We’ve already seen shades of 80’s faders with the Symour to Burger punch fest. Lets not throw Tebow on the hottest burner available and expect him not to get fried. Lets give the guy a chance, I mean last weekend would have been perfect, but no WAY does he start against jokeland if anyone knows whats good for him.

Sorry, don't buy it...
If he is THAT bad—if he honestly can’t play at all—why on earth isn’t he deactivated? If you argue the fans would be in an uproar, then put him at no. 3. You’d be sending a message to everyone that way.
I think they are trying to get Orton eligible for the Pro Bowl, but given his past two games that is no longer realistic. I’d start Tebow the last two home games, but this organization appears to be so dysfunctional now they probably won’t even do that.
The only case I can see for not playing him is because he is so bad and they want to try to trade him to some sucker and don’t want him to get on the field and stink it up. It too suffers from the same problem—if he’s THAT bad, why not at the very least put him at no. 3 on the chart?
The last time Orton started against Oakland
wewere down 28 to 0 in the blink of an eye. I don’t ever want to see that happen again.
Tebow was the greatest college football player of this generation...
That type of talent will surface IF given a chance.
IMO ;-)
