Again listening to 87.7 and they were discussing who they would trade in order to move up and draft Andrew Luck. Kyle Orton's name came up but was quickly shot down.
They said that because Orton had played poorly the past couple of games and is due $8-9 million that it would be almost impossible to trade him. They said that if his contract was $2-3 million then it would be fine but at such a high number and with him struggling it looks like Denver is going to have to keep him.
Now both Tim Tebow and Brady Quinn are different altogether.
I could see Denver trading Tim Tebow to Jacksonville for a 2nd Round Pick. David Garrard is older and even though he is having a very solid year , Jacksonville could trade for Tebow and groom him to be the FUTURE in Gainsville. Tebow is a living legend there and would help revive that franchise.
Brady Quinn's best trade destination would be KC with Charlie Weis and Quinn is better than Brady Croyle. Maybe we could get a 5th or 6th or 7th Round Pick for him with Weis there.
I think that most people here will agree that Kyle Orton's trade value is virtually non-existent considering he is due $8-9 million next year and has struggled mightly the past couple of games.
