Stanley Daniels Returns to the Broncos
The Broncos have added OL Stanley Daniels to the practice squad. He had been waived Saturday to make room for K Steven Hauschka. #fb
Offensive lineman Stanley Daniels has been invited to the Broncos practice squad after spending the past three days away from football.
Stanley began the season as a starter for the Broncos, taking the place of Ryan Harris who was recovering from a knee injury. He eventually lost his job to rookie Zane Beadles and spent weeks 10 through 13 on the gameday inactives list. Last weekend, he was cut to make room for kicker Steven Hauschka after Matt Prater injured his hamstring during practice.

Glad to see that a former starter of ours couldnt even get picked up by one team
just a great look at our talent level. What I want to know is is if Daniels was good enough to start, then why cut him instead of Eric Olsen who has zero playing experience? Im an ND fan and I thought he was great in college but the move didnt make sense to me. Why cut and PS the guy with experience and not the guy who has yet to take a real snap? and besides with teams having nothing to go on tape wise who exactly would be diving head over heels to get him if thats what the Broncos were worried about?
I hope I wont have to question moves like this in the future. This one just doesnt make any sense. If anyone could clarify or try to that’d be great
olsen is pretty young and a rookie so teams
may sign him because of their draft profile on him and potential

Clarification
your not likely to acquire someone else with knowledge of this system. Daniels knows the scheme and could step in immediately if there is another injury before the end of the season. The way our luck has been, that is a better solution than grabbing someone to train for next year at this point. Plus, Practice Squad salaries are $5,200 a week. That beats the league minimum. They also expire at season’s end.

My ship finally came in, but it was the Kobayashi Maru.
Plus it was probably a planned move in the first place.
We conquered this territory with our bodies and souls, then we watered it with our tears.
Go Denver!
I meant why didnt we do the same thing with Olsen
But I didn’t know he was playing C for us as SSinSD said
Can I be mad about this?
just sayin

It is a great sign when the difference between Starter and Practice Squad
is apparently two weeks and one returning player
Stanley Daniels
I’ve never actually seen his face, but I always think of Stanley from the office out there playing O-Line. Which seems like it fits quite nicely given that when Daniels played he spent the whole time trying to get KO killed.
I always picture

Why do we always keep these kinds of guys around?
Just these bottom feeders nobody wants. We get guys the Lions don’t want, that the Bills don’t want (now he’s our HC), that others don’t want, and we expect to better than these teams. I just don’t get it. I get Bannan. We pulled him of a historically good Defense. I get pulling guys from the Jets, Steelers, Pats, and Ravens. I don’t get pulling guys that the bottom feeders don’t want. We’ve done it for years. Then the guys we don’t want get picked up and play lights out. I want to go after talent. Watching the texans play last night, there were playmakers on that field. The only guy we have who will stretch for a play is Lloyd. KM can do a little of that, too…. but the rest just give up if the play is out of reach. There’s no EFFORT. Because they are leftovers from moldy teams. I hope THIS culture changes.

let's not spread rumors...
It said “sexual assault charges are Class 3 and Class 4 felonies, which carry a sentence of between two years to life in prison. They involve a helpless victim.”
Between TWO years and LIFE……..that’s a lot of years in between. Plus he hasn’t even been convicted of anything yet.
But i still agree that we need champ
Well....
life is a possibility, but extenuating circumstances may be present. Frankly, none of us knows the total situation, nor the circumstances. Therefore, I think the man is innocent until proven guilty. It’s in the Constitution…..
And no, I have never defended any rapist who was proven to be one. And abusers, partiuclaly of children. But I do not believe that an arrest is proof of anything…..
