Broncos LB Dumervil cited for assault after game
Apparently it happened after our blowout loss to the Raiders on Oct. 24th and involved one of the parking attendants at Invesco.

This is getting ridiculous!
Hey, all Denver Bronco players, stay out of legal trouble!!!! You’re professionals, start acting like it!!!!

Players act like the fans
Look at Oakland or Tennessee. When I went to my home game, I was almost ashamed to be seen as a Broncos fan, it’s sad how bad the fans are getting, with so much booing for little things, swearing, and rudeness, it’s just sad.
Orton, Tebow, Quinn, who cares as long as the Broncos win.
Did you actually read the article??
He didn’t have ‘proper id’ when trying to enter the stadium…and then they rolled in that he has speeding tickets into the same article. It’s a stupid headline by the media trying to incite a big reaction from the readers.
I did read it
and I saw nothing that said he didn’t have proper ID

assault is a verbal attack
disturbing the peace has to do with being loud.
so he probably verbally attacked the parking attendant loudly.
honestly? i don’t make much of it. just some parking attendant trying to get a nice payday.

Yes, I think you have it.
Even with no swearing, no property damage, and no physical contact, a “yes” to the question “Were you frightened” can be sufficient. The more prominent the person is that is upset (regardless of ther merit of his/her case), the more of a target he is. For example; you don’t typically see these charges against the guy hanging out on the corner wth no apparent means of support; he pretty much has to get physical before the cops are called. Make him mayor, a celebrity, rich/wealthy, etc, and it becomes more likely by far. The law is there for a purpose, but there is no way to stop its trivial use or outright abuse without first arresting or citing the individual and then working it out later.
