TRADE ORTON! PLAY TEBOW NOW!

I was on board with this notion weeks ago, then reality hit me in the stomach. I don't think it's going to happen any time soon as long as McD is in charge. By giving Orton the contract extension, playing Tebow now would admit another failed plan. With the Cutler trade moving more to the Bears favor in each passing week, benching Orton would sway the trade nearly 100% in the bears favor essentially sealing Mcd's own fate right out the back door of Dove Valley and right out of town.

As a fan I want hope, Orton gives me no feeling of hope. Tebow does. I could care less about a coach trying to save face and keep his job. I only want hope. When Tebow was drafted It gave me hope for the future, when Orton's contract was extended, my hope was dashed a bit. Now with the reality of the Bears most likely making the playoffs before the Broncos, as a fan it's a punch in the stomach. With the misuse of the draft picks gained, Orton's success is really the only thing left McD can hope for to make the trade look better and possibly saving his job.  3-9 and a horrible performance yesterday, McD's hope lies on more 400 yard games by Orton and Cutler throwing more INT's in the final 4 games.

As long as McD is calling the shots, Tebow stays on the bench "learning"...........  realizing this, it's like another body blow, OUCH!
