The idea that when a team dumps a coach somehow the new coach will jettison every single player and assistant coach currently in the organization is a fallacy. Josh McDaniels system in 2 season hasn’t proven to be any better than other pro-style offenses in the NFL, actually his system has proven to be pretty average. The NFL isn’t about schemes… its about players. When McDaniels had Tom Brady, Randy Moss and Wes Welker in his system it worked. Kyle Orton isn’t Tom Brady…. Denver is currently averaging 21 points a game… the exact same scoring average under Shanahan and Cutler. If Coach McDaniels is fired, the next coach will find a place and utilize the best players on the Broncos roster and remove the dead weight. If Tebow is a franchise QB, he will have a chance to earn the job, if he isn’t then he won’t. The idea that if you get rid of a head Coach after two years you become the Raiders in ridiculous. Denver has had 2 HC in 14 years… That’s very un-Raider like. When a team goes from being 8-8 to 3-9 there is a problem. McD was brought in to take an 8-8 team and make them into a playoff contender. Instead the Broncos are worse offensively and defensively and the organizations lacks direction. Why let McD blow another draft before making another change? The time for change is at hand….
