"I continue not to be convinced that Brandon Marshall is going to be traded away from the Broncos. I expect that he gets tendered, and that nobody signs him to an offer sheet. There may be trade inquiries, trying to get him for less than a first and third round pick, but the Broncos don't need to do a deal like that. If he gets a big offer, they can evaluate whether or not to match, based on the money involved. Maybe then, they take the #1 and #3. Giving the guy away, though, isn't going to happen."

Thanks Doug
Be interested to see how much Ty Law still has in the tank next year. He was an interesting pick up.
"All we're trying to do is win the *********** game!" -- Josh MF McDaniels tearing into his offensive line after three false starts in the red zone. The tirade turned the tide of the game, and the Broncos dominated from that point on.
Thanks Doug...
Ted Bartlett still on the Tebow band wagon. Hes a great kid, but will be a TERRIBLE QB….
Those that cant coach, compete!
Failing to plan is planning to fail.
All I want is 53 Rod Smiths. Is that asking too much????

Ted loves Univ of Florida so his judgment is clouded on Tebow.
I think Tebow will be a great short yardage and goal to go NFL player. I don’t think he’ll ever be a great NFL QB. If Tebow fell to round 2, I would have no problem with Denver drafting him since his size and skill set should help us in an area where we really stunk in 2009.

Tebow
Backup QB and a wild horses QB. If that fad remains in NFL

I don’t care what formation any team runs – it doesn’t really matter. I fully believe that Tebow (in many ways) will be a dangerous short yardage and goal line weapon. He has a place in the NFL.
I also fully believe that Tebow will NEVER be a good drop back passing NFL QB.

You and I agree
on something McG. I’m on board with you on Tebow. I haven’t been impressed with him at all. I understand what you are saying about his short yardage abilities but do you really think you would want to pay him 2nd round money as a situational player? Not trying to provoke an argument I just think that he should be a late 4th or early 5th as I agree he he will struggle to be a good NFL QB. A project that could take about 4 or 5 years.
Just my opinion tho
I would certainly pay 2nd round money for a guy that could get 7+TDs and 7+ 1st downs where Moreno couldn’t.
In limited, but important situations, Tebow could be an NFL matchup nightmare. Definately worth a 2nd round pick (not a 1st because of my use of the word limited.

Thanks!
I was impressed last night when Suzy Kolber tried to bait Marshall into the soap opera that the MSM is tryin to extend/rescuscitate…..his comment in essence was:
That’s all behind us now….I look forward to being a Bronco for a long time.
I still believe he will be a happy receiver with the Broncos in 2010. This could be my worst gut feeling ever, but I think far too many have blown this out of proportion.
