Marc Bulger, going into his tenth season, may be released from the Rams. If this happens, should we pick him up? Here is a link to his stats. They look dismal, I know, but how much of that is due to a poor supporting cast? Is it possible for a guy to regress from a 101 QB rating a decade ago to being in the mid 90's from 2004 to 2006 and then having a rating of 70 this season? Part of that has to be because of the team he is on. He also suffered a knee injury last year, sidelining him for the last 4 games, so injury is a concern. Now, I'm not saying that he could be our starter, but it's worth considering him as a backup QB. He's a veteran player with not much around him, apart from Stephen Jackson. Could he be a McDaniels system QB? I'm not sure. I'd have to check him out and research him a bit more. It's certainly a possibility. As of right now, Bulger is still a Ram, but speculation from the Rams blog is that he might be gone. So, just log this in your memory banks, for now. What do you all think? Would you be in favor of the Broncos pursuing Marc Bulger as a KO backup?
