Coin Flip for 10 to be Held On Friday
The Broncos and Jacksonville Jaguars, will flip a coin Friday somewhere at the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis to determine who will have the No. 10 overall pick in the draft. The coin flip "loser" will select No. 11, a slot that eventually comes out to roughly $2 million cheaper in guaranteed contract value. The Broncos are in this position thanks to their trade last year with the Chicago Bears, and the Bears finishing 7-9 in their first season with Jay Cutler as their quarterback. The Broncos are expected to take a defensive lineman, linebacker, or possibly a quarterback with their first-round pick this year.

thanks klis
the first round focus on QBs makes me sick…

^Needs explaining: don't call someone asking uncomfortable, slightly antagonistic questions trolls. In all odds they probably just want to learn. It's real easy to differentiate a 'Socratic' post from a trolling one (unless you're a resident of WCG).
^Needs further explaining: I have yet to post anything on WCG, don't worry, I'm not trying to rationalize anything I've done. I've just lurked over there and man, they are the model of post-peloponnesian war Athens.
Yup.
or possibly a quarterback with their first-round pick this year
Yeah, ‘cause that’s the most glaring need as everyone knows….
O-lineman or D-lineman. Best available. Nuff said.

This was brought up in the other post but
Which team gets to decide which side to call? Is there a tiebreaker for that?
Hey kiddies.... I have Internet candy in my van...
Hahaha, I'd like to know, too.

Matt Prater, pre-2009 season: Despised, lambasted, Josh McDaniels is derided for not replacing him.
Matt Prater, post-2009 season: Loved, praised, everone forgets the time when they called Josh McDaniels an idiot for not replacing him.

The Bears pick heads/tails
Not sure how that was decided, but the Bears are calling the flip. The reason the Broncos are not involved is because the Bears and Jags will flip picks in alternating rounds. For example, if the Bears win the flip they will draft 10th in odd numbered rounds and 11 in even numbered rounds (except for the picks they traded away).
I've heard all this about it being held "somewhere"...
…or at an undisclosed location"….
My best guess? Lucas Oil Stadium, Club level, Women’s room – 4th stall.

It's been reported
that Jax wants to win the coin toss for the same reason I do, to trade down. They feel also that teams desire to trade up for a certain player is right at that line between 10 and 11.
10th is better for trades
I was really hoping for a guard like Lupati though

whatever font the internet’s in, having an uppercase I that looks exactly like a lowercase l is practically criminal
Il….two different letters?

If we win the coin toss, I hope we don't defer.

If Taylor Swift were to try and tackle me, I'd let her.

You could ask TJ
but I think it’s about a 37.4% chance for deferral.

Why do people make this stuff up
Horsestance..I would bet your house that Denver will NOT even think about a QB at #10/11.
Josh feels that there is not value at QB to be taken that high. His QB of choice is next year. Now the problem is going to be how to get picks enough to get that choice.
He is quoting Mike Klis

the appropriate subject line should've read: "Why do people get paid to make this stuff up"

Pardon my ignorance
Who IS that QB?
