UPDATE - According to NFL.com, the list of finalists was pared to 5, plus the two senior committee members. The final 5 were Russ Grimm, Rickey Jackson, John Randle, Jerry Rice, and Emmitt Smith. That means the Shannon Sharpe DID NOT make it in 2010.
Feel free to talk about it as we wait until 5:30PM et to find out who will be the Class of 2010.

Emmett and Jerry both deserve it.
But it’s amazing to me how many of these guys get in who had these monster teams behind them. Emmet, Jerry, Montana, Aikman, the whole team contributed to those stats and records. Little? Talk about a one-horse town…… Wow. Nad he STILL produced.

agree with Grimm over Sharpe, but maybe they didn’t want Russ to slip through the cracks, and Sharpe will definitely be in next year. But, we got the more important one today. Floyd is the reason that the Broncos are in Denver. I am glad that these people finally got that through their Gump-like heads.

I never ever thought I would see Floyd in the Hall. I still dislike the voters cuz IMO they suck and are so biased. Now its up to the vets committee to get Randy in. For the life of I cant understand why Denver now has only 3 in the hall

Here's my big beef...
Ask yourself the question, if sharpe was a cowboy, would he be in already? Even Peter King himself would struggle to answer that in a way that wouldn’t completely reveal the heavy bias going on in that voting room. That’s a sham. Plain and simple.
